The Showcase performances were incredible... but the Awards Ceremony was our chance to celebrate an unforgettable season and the amazing athletes who made it so special. ❤️💙

From programme and team awards, to our individual certificates recognising each athlete's unique qualities, every presentation was a chance to celebrate the hard work, resilience, growth and dedication shown throughout the year. 🤩

Watching our athletes walk up to collect their certificates, stand proudly with their banners and celebrate alongside their teammates is what makes this day so magical. Looking back through these moments reminds us just how special our Showcase was. The smiles, the cheers, the hugs and the proud faces... this is what Birkenhead Comets is all about. 🚀

Looking at this graphic really makes us realise what a special year we've had, with a truly special group of athletes.

These numbers tell part of the story, but they don't show the countless hours of training, the determination after setbacks, the friendships that have grown, or the commitment shown by every single athlete, coach and family throughout the season.

To finish the season with

🏆 3 Grand Champion titles,
🌎 2 ASW Bids,
💎 our first ever PAID Bid to the All Star World Championship,
💥 17 Hit Zero routines,

is something we could only have dreamed of a few years ago. 🤯✨

But perhaps the achievement we're proudest of is this... 👇

✨ Not one single Comets team finished lower than 3rd place all season. 🥇🥈🥉

That consistency is a testament to the culture we've built at Comets.

From our youngest beginners to our oldest athletes, every single person in this photo is part of the Comets story.

☀️ SUMMER TRAINING IS HERE! ☀️

Thinking about joining a cheerleading team this season?

At Birkenhead Comets Cheer, we do things a little differently.

❌ No formal try-outs.
❌ No one-day decisions.
✅ We believe in getting to know the athlete.

Throughout the summer, athletes train in larger skill and age-based groups, giving all of our coaches the opportunity to see their strengths, support their development, and place them into the team where they'll thrive the most.

We know that cheerleading is about so much more than what you can do on one day. We look at the whole athlete – attitude, commitment, coachability, teamwork, determination, and potential – not just the skills you walk through the door with.

We're passionate about creating a positive, supportive and welcoming environment where every athlete feels valued, encouraged and part of the Comets family from day one. Whether your child is completely new to cheer, moving over from gymnastics, or looking for a fresh start with a new programme, they'll be welcomed with open arms.

What an incredible day at our very first Comets Showcase! Seeing our gym packed with athletes all warming up together was a moment we'll never forget.

We're absolutely blown away by the support from our amazing athletes, families, volunteers and everyone who helped make today so special. Thank you for being part of such a huge milestone in the Comets journey.

A few new additions to the gym this week! 💙❤️🤍

Our new backdrop is finally up and we're absolutely made up with how it looks. A huge thank you to United Cheer Apparel for designing and producing it for us.

It seemed only right to take a photo with some of the silverware and banners from this weekend's Revolution competition too...

What a weekend for Team Comets! 💙❤️🤍

Our athletes took to the floor at Revolution All Out and delivered performance after performance that made us incredibly proud.

From our youngest athletes taking to the floor with confidence, to our older athletes showcasing their hard work and determination, every single Comet played their part in an amazing weekend of cheerleading.

A huge congratulations to Galaxy Girls on securing an ASW Bid and to Lady Mystic on receiving a PAID Bid to the All Star World Championships! ✨🌎
