Tranmere Victoria Cricket Club We are a family club with a friendly atmosphere and are always looking for new members, from juniors to adults, to help continue our recent progress.

October 17th Saturday Paulo (local singer) £5 per ticket hot/cold buffet (Limited tickets)

24th Saturday Gladstone Libs Bowls, Presentation night & Race night.

31st Saturday Kids Halloween party followed by adult halloween party. Times to follow.

November 14th Saturday TVCC PRESENTATION night. time to follow

With our cricket season finishing on Saturday 12th Septemeber, fear not as the club will still be Opening for selected dates and events......

Tuesday 15th September. Club Open from 7pm for cricketers to call in to pick up kit bags etc

Saturday 19th Club Open from 1:30pm for rest of cricket kits to be claimed.

Sunday 20th Club Open from 1:30pm (Work party meeting! have you got a few hours to spare over the next few weeks? as we start to shut down the cricket side of things, and make ready to paint changingrooms etc

*Please note! The bar will also be Open on these dates 🙂

Massive Thanks to Steve Walker, for helping out for over 5hrs, as we started to scarify our cricket square.

Scarifying means to remove dead moss, weeds, and matted grass (called thatch). This allows water, air, and nutrients to reach the grass roots.

We scarified the square in the direction of play, we then scarified at 90deg to the first cut, and then finally started to scarify diagonally, but ran out of time 😞

Today’s effort saw us remove over 40 barrow loads of moss etc etc.

Wednesday will see us finishing of the diagonal scarifying, and barrowing off the waste.

Good evening boys & girls, it’s Sunday and the big & little hands of the clock are both pointing to the 6, So it’s Open the box time 🙂

With all tickets perfectly folded by Mavis (👏) all eyes turned to Jacob. We asked local artist Ala N Keenan, to pick out a lucky ticket, and this weeks name was Mr Thighs himself Ryan Davies. With Ryan not in the club, we again asked Ala to pick a key on his behalf 😬 unlucky Ryan? Ala stick to painting 👍

Good morning!

Well here we are, Last game of the season.....

Join us today at 1pm as TVCC 2nd XI take on Upton CC.

Join us one last time in the creche, on the boundary, in the club, as our 2nd XI take to the field at 1pm.

Its amazing how quickly 26 weeks have come and gone! There have been many Ups & Downs throughout the season, but Thanks to everyone involved in TVCC there have been many more Ups, with the club growing both on and off the field. We finish the season in a much healthier position, playing wise, financially and socially.
Thanks to each and everyone of you!

Well this is a first?

Over the years, we have had bikes, scooters, motorbikes, penny farthings 🙂 prams, kids, dogs, adults, mobility scooters etc etc on our outfield! But this is a new phenomenon?
Can anyone identify what might have visited us?
Be interesting if the ball diverts of one of the marks.

Clue, People use to dry their cloths on them?
Ala N Keenan might have even painted one or two.
Colin might have felt this at Tranmere Rovers.

Unbelievable as it seems? Tomorrow sees the last games of the season for Tranmere Victoria CC....
26 weeks have flown, since the start of the season on April 18th.

We would like to once again Thank WSS For their match ball Sponsorship, Victoria Convenience Store for their Match shirt sponsorship, and everyone whom Sponsored one of our match days, throughout the season..... Thank You

Tomorrow sees our 1st XI travelling to Winsford CC for their final game, meaning that the final showcase of cricketing skills (Your last chance to maybe see the famous Googly ball?) will be brought to you by our 2nd XI, as the take on Upton CC at 1pm.

Although the weather has changed a bit? We would still love to see you all tomorrow for one last game, drink, chat etc etc as we sign off the 2026 season.

Good morning,

With another 23mm (basically 1 inch) of rain over night? the fantastic summer already seems so far away!
As we squelch our way to our last 2 matches, tomorrows home match, as our 1st XI take on Styal CC (12:30 start) finishing with our last match on Saturday 12th September with our 2nd XI turning out v Upton CC (1pm start).

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, whether arriving for the days crickets, calling in on the way to Tranmere Rovers v Oldham, bored, lost, All are welcome.

Big shout out to Kerry Well Lane for Sponsoring tomorrows match, and our commiserations to Pam & Alan whom for the last two years have seen their Sponsored matches rained off!
