# # FAQ: What time should I arrive on race day?

One of the easiest ways to enjoy a relaxed race morning is to give yourself plenty of time before the start. 😊

Registration for our events **usually opens up to 2 hours before the race starts**, although this can vary depending on the event. **The relevant event page on our website will always have the most up-to-date race day information**, including registration opening and closing times.

Giving yourself plenty of time means you can:

✅ Collect your race bib.
✅ Complete the emergency contact details on the back.
✅ Attach your bib securely.
✅ Use the toilet facilities.
✅ Warm up, soak up the atmosphere and head to the start line feeling relaxed.

Now the West Coast Half Marathon is selling out fast.

If you've been thinking about joining us on the start line this October, now is the time to secure your place.

Starting at Preston Docks and finishing beside the beautiful Fairhaven Lake in Lytham St Annes, this unique point-to-point half marathon offers a flat, scenic route, an incredible race-day atmosphere and a finish you'll remember long after you've crossed the line.

We're sharing this now because once the event reaches capacity, that's it. Unfortunately, we can't create extra places or accept late entries.

# # ❓ FAQ: What if I can't run?

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and plans change.

If you can no longer take part, you may be able to **transfer your place to another runner** or **defer your entry** to another event or the following year, provided you do so **before the deadlines** set out in the event Terms & Conditions.

Unfortunately, **entries are non-refundable**, and once the transfer or deferral deadline has passed, we are unable to make any changes.
