U12s in action today away at Kirkham Yellows, testing themselves again against higher division teams, but it was a close end to end game, with Kirkham narrowly edging it 3-2.
Player of the match was Mo, stand in GK today and some great saves made and good distribution to his teammates.
Parents POTM was Archie, getting a goal and an assist and an overall great performance from him, his goal was an incredible header from a pin point corner, right into the top right hand corner.

​If your child is passionate about football and wants to be part of a supportive, high-energy group, we’d love to meet them. We focus on developing skills, building confidence, and most importantly having a great time on the pitch.
​ What We’re Looking For:

• ​Age Group: Students going into Yr 4
• ​Experience: Ideally someone with previous match experience.
• ​Commitment: A reliable player ready to grow with a brilliant local team.

We have training on Thursday 6pm-7pm with matches on Saturdays

An earlier start today for our U11 Scorpions 🦂 against a tough Freckleton Juniors side! We battled hard to earn a 2-2 draw in an end-to-end game. Both teams had plenty of chances, but fantastic performances from both keepers kept the scoreline tight. Great effort, team! 💪⚽

​Huge congratulations to Raife, who takes home both Man of the Match and Parents' Player of the Match!
​Raife is brand new to the team—and to football itself—but stepped up wanting to be our goalkeeper. What a start he's made! Today he pulled off some fantastic saves and kicked off our attacks with brilliant distribution. Keep it up, Raife!

U12s in action this morning against FC Rangers Blacks on a very bobbly and hard pitch at Boundary.
Great game as always against these boys, some super goals scored and great football on show
Player of the match was Cole, hardworking performance, creative and offered something different that was needed to push the boys forward and also help in defence.
Parents POTM was Freddie T for the 2nd week in a row, another confident performance from him, showing his quality and a smile on his face throughout.

U12s in action today against 2026 Shield winners South Shore Pythons.
Great game again as always with them, all the boys put on a great display and some great football on show today from both sides.
Player of the match today was Jackson, a super performance from him today, caused the South Shore defence lots of problems and scored a worldie Volley from a Freddie P corner. He carried the ball strongly and also got himself another goal and an assist.
Parents POTM was debutant Freddie T, he's been training with us for about 4 weeks and wanted to get onto the field with the team and what a performance he brought, composed at the back, supported his teammates and enjoyed his time on the pitch

U12s in action this weekend, testing themselves again against South Shore Youth u11s.
Despite the heat, the game had it all, great goals, tough tackles, determination and a few penalties.
Overall it was another good run out for the boys with hopefully some learnings taken from it.
Goals from Jackson using his body well to drive through from a route one kick from our keeper Alfie and finish past the keeper.
The other came from the penalty sport after Max was fouled in the box, Cam stepped up and scored his first 9 a side Staining goal, something he's been wanting for a while now so hopefully the pressure is off him.
Shoutout to Alfie also who saved a penalty 🧤
Player of the match was Dom, really growing into the team now and put a shift in midfield, worked hard, wanted the ball under pressure and looked positive on the ball.
Parents POTM was Cam, good solid performance from him and a goal to finish it off, well done boys

Our u12s were in action for the first time as u12s against a top division team in FCS Xavis.
A great experience for the boys to learn against the top players in their age group and test themselves on how to play when you don't have much of the ball.
It was a tale of 2 halves really, Xavis putting us to the sword in the first half with great attacking play, but the 2nd half we were much more compact, working together as a team and managed to get a goal which was scored by our newest team member Dom.
Parents POTM was Mo, who was our Goalkeeper on the day, making countless saves and not a lot he could do about the ones that he conceded.
Player of the match was Joe, moved into defence in the 2nd half and really helped shape the teams performance being harder to break down making some key blocks and calm on the ball to relieve some of the pressure.

Great to see the Staining Scorpions back out there today after a few weeks off! The wind made it a really tough shift against St Annes Purples, and the boys started a bit slow, but they absolutely grew into it. Love seeing them take what they learn in training and actually use it in a game. Brilliant job, lads! 🙌

Today’s Parents' Player of the Match goes to the entire team! With only 7 players available, the boys had zero time for a break but battled hard through some incredibly tough conditions. Every single one of them gave 110% effort today—unbelievable grit and teamwork! 👏⚽

​Today’s award goes to Alfie, who has settled in brilliantly after just a few games with the team. He put in a superb performance down the right wing, combining relentless energy and excellent crossing even scoring two goals.

U11s in action for the final time as u11s, and a great way to sign off.

Decent performance from the boys today winning 6-2, with most if the goals being great team efforts.

Player of the match was Cole, hard working and played in 4 different positions throughout the game and hot on with it without an issue trying his best each time.

Parents POTM was Archie, brilliant defensive display from him, strong in the tackle, pace to get forward and back, an all round great performance
