Here’s some of us celebrating our club’s success this year at the 2026 AU Ball!

We were lucky enough to have 3 nominations this year:
💃MOST IMPROVED SPORTSWOMAN: JANINA PARRY
🪩CLUB EVENT OF THE YEAR: STRICTLY COME DANCESPORT
🏆CLUB OF THE YEAR

We are also so proud of our president, Emmy Ng Wing Lit, for receiving 🏆CLUB HONOURS🏆 this year! This is awarded to the person who has contributed most significantly to the success of the club during this academic year, going above and beyond hair call of duty. It is the highest recognition that can be awarded to any student for their contribution to their sports club and the Athletic Union. As our president and AU executive committee member, she thoroughly deserved this award and we are so proud❤️

DANCESPORT SPRING BALL 2026💐🪭👑

Thank you everyone so much for attending our annual end of year ball! This year we had a Bridgerton themed ball organised by our events officer Libby!❤️ She did a fabulous job of organising so thank you!✨🪩

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY🪩💃

This is a really special day where we all celebrate our love of dance! Dance has brought so much joy, memories and friendships to all of our lives and we wouldn’t be the same without it❤️

We are incredibly privileged to be able to welcome new people to the world of dance each year and spread the love🌟💞

WEEK 24🌟

As we approach exam season, we are sad to announce that this is our last week of classes😥

There may be the odd social class/dance going forward but other than that we are wrapping up for the year! It’s been an incredible year and we look forward to seeing everyone back soon!❤️

Our lovely wellbeing officer Miaya will be hosting a wellbeing picnic next weekend to give us all a well deserved break from all our deadlines/exams! Fingers crossed the weather is on our side! If not, we will look at some alternatives☀️🧺

‼️NEW SOCIAL DANCE SESSIONS STARTING THIS WEEK‼️

We are very excited to announce that for the next few weeks we will be running social dance on Sundays! Our first session will be a special one, hosted by the lovely Jack who is a very experienced social dancer!❤️

There’s detailed info in our WhatsApp group chat with everything you need to know but most importantly it’s open to absolutely everyone in the club, regardless of level, and we will be encouraging everyone to dance with everybody!

We know asking new people to dance is daunting so Jack has made something to make asking people much easier. If you’ve seen Bridgerton you may know what it is…👀
