One of the largest clubs in the university's Athletics Union, Cardiff University DanceSport Club is dedicated to teaching and developing skills in Ballroom, Latin and Salsa dancing to all students at Cardiff University. We offer professionally taught lessons to Cardiff students in each of these three dance types, and have a team that competes around the UK on the university circuit.

‼️One week countdown to freshers week starts today‼️

We are very excited to meet you all at the freshers fair⭐️, if you want to join us or have any questions, this is a great place to speak to our amazing committee about it 🪩🏆

We are members of the athletic union so will be at the sports and freebies fair on Monday and Tuesday, NOT at the societies fair with all the other dance clubs 🕺

Heath Park students, we will be at the Heath freshers fair also, don’t worry about having a busy course or placement- we are very accommodating 🏥❤️

Introducing this years Student teacher~ Kiera ⭐️❤️

Kiera is an amazing dancer and friend who can’t wait to share her knowledge and experience with our members!!! 🎉💃

You can find Kiera, at classes, at live lounge, helping out in practice sessions but mainly at live lounge!! ✨🪩 We are so lucky to have her again on committee, putting her best foot forward (even if that’s walking barefoot across the streets of Cardiff after a night out🤣🫪)

Introducing Eef ~ our Dancesport wardrobe and equipment officer 🪩🔥

Keeping Team Cardiff looking fresh and fly, making sure all the kit ends up where it needs to be, we can’t wait for all the merch Eef will be bringing to the table 🕺❤️

Eef is looking forward to more dance socials and learning even more dances!!! We are so lucky to have Eef on committee this year, who will be lighting up the dance floor with the new moves they’ve learnt (and their electrical engineering degree) ⚡️🪩

Libby is a third year history student and is back to reprise her role as events coordinator- it’s a 10 from us 😉. Super friendly and always up for a chat, you’ll catch her making friends with everyone at pre’s…. Although making it out of pre’s is another story👀🥂

Chrissy is many things. Our amazing social sec, the friend that holds your hair back after a night out, a fake tan enthusiast and occasionally someone that remembers she studying a law degree!! 💅✨

If there’s a social to organise Chrissy will definitely be there- probably glowing 3 shades darker than the day before being her super friendly and kind self. She has a way of making everyone feel included and like you’ve been friends with her for years!!!❤️🔥

Tilly is the other half of our Team captain duo! She can’t wait to start this year on the right foot 🔥✨ Whilst she’s studying Welsh and education she also balances being our resident Welsh speaker - so don’t be surprised if our team talks slowly become bilingual!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💃
