🏉 MEN OF THE MATCH | IOAN SEAWARD & LIAM SWINN 🏉
Now the dust has settled on Derby Day, we’d like to congratulate Blaenavon RFC on their victory and wish them all the best for the season ahead.
After both clubs had to withdraw from their respective leagues last season, seeing two teams from the town back out there playing competitive rugby is a real testament to the hard work and commitment going on behind the scenes at both clubs. 👏
This week, we simply couldn’t separate our two standout performers, so the Men of the Match honours go to Ioan Seaward and Liam Swinn. 💪
Ioan produced a superb defensive display, working tirelessly throughout, putting in tackle after tackle and showing real determination and commitment in the Forgeside jersey.
Liam was equally impressive, bringing physicality, work rate and commitment throughout the game and making his presence felt whenever called upon.
Two performances that fully deserved recognition. 👏🖤🧡
A huge thank you to their respective player sponsors, DW Plumbing & Heating and Rob Swinn – driveJohnson’s, for their continued support of the players and Forgeside RFC.
Well done, Ioan and Liam! 👏
