Under blistering sunshine with temperatures peaking at a scorching 31 degrees, ☀️☀️🥵 a packed and vibrant crowd gathered at Mayfield CC for what promised to be a huge quarter-final clash between two competitive sides. But by the end of the afternoon, this contest had turned into an absolute demolition job from Secured Homes CC.

Before the cricket even began, massive credit must go to Ghafoor and everybody associated with Mayfield CC for the unbelievable hospitality shown throughout the day. From arrival to departure, the welcome was first-class. The BBQ setup was outstanding, the atmosphere around the ground was buzzing all afternoon, and the crowd certainly made the most of the top-class food on offer. True cricket brotherhood on display. 👏🔥

With the ☀️ beating down and conditions absolutely roasting, Secured Homes skipper Arsaam Malik won the toss and had no hesitation in electing to bat first — and what followed was a batting display packed with class, composure and outright brutality.

The innings began steadily with M. Zarak Khan Zarak Khan Mahsud once again proving why he continues to be such a reliable figure at the top of the order. He played a superbly measured knock, reaching a well-crafted half-century and laying the perfect platform for the middle order to explode later in the innings. His calmness in the early overs allowed Secured Homes to settle into the game while others around him looked to accelerate.

But then came the moment everybody in attendance will be talking about for a very, very long time…

This was not just a century.!! 💯
This was pure carnage.!! 🎇
A masterclass.!! 🧠
An innings that completely broke the spirit of the opposition.!! 🏏

ZEE BHAI produced one of the finest innings seen this season with an absolutely outrageous 119 from just 69 balls. The knock was beautifully structured from start to finish — calculated early on before turning into total destruction.

The numbers alone are frightening:

⚡ 10 MASSIVE sixes
⚡ Strike rate over 172

Every time the ball disappeared into the blazing Mayfield sky, the Secured Homes supporters erupted louder and louder. The timing, the power, the confidence — it was elite-level batting and undoubtedly one of the standout innings of the entire season so far. 🫡🫡

Supported by useful contributions throughout the innings, including a quick-fire cameo from Ijy Dar, Secured Homes powered their way to a mammoth 242-6 from the full 45 overs. A total that already looked miles beyond Mayfield’s reach in the unbearable heat.

And then came the bowling assault…

If the batting broke Mayfield’s confidence, the bowling absolutely buried them.

From the very first overs, Secured Homes hunted like a side possessed. Energy in the field was electric. Every run was challenged. Every wicket celebrated like a final.

M. Hassan Khan produced arguably his best spell in a Secured Homes shirt, bowling with aggression, hostility and complete control. His figures of 7 overs, 1 maiden, 19 runs and 2 wickets do not even fully reflect the pressure he created. Every delivery carried intent and Mayfield’s batters simply had no answer to his relentless accuracy and intensity. 🔥

At the other end was a man running purely on passion, heart and adrenaline…

After bowling 9 straight overs the previous day, the warrior did it AGAIN. No complaints. No slowing down. Just relentless fire and commitment for the badge.

Ijy Dar ripped through the Mayfield batting lineup with a spell full of aggression, emotion and elite skill. His rhythm was unstoppable and every wicket completely sucked the life out of the chase.

A truly heroic spell of fast bowling that completely destroyed any hope Mayfield had of getting remotely close to the target. This was not just bowling — this was a statement performance from a man giving absolutely everything for his team. 💪🏏
