✨ “I wasn’t sure where to start…”
One of the biggest reasons women put off joining a gym isn’t lack of motivation.
It’s uncertainty.
Not knowing what to do.
Not wanting to feel judged.
Not feeling confident enough to walk through the door.
That’s exactly why Kate joined our ladies-only small group sessions.
Since January, she’s been training alongside a supportive group of women in a friendly, welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace.
Here’s what she had to say:
💬 “Sophie is a fantastic PT for women who are new to the gym or want to get back to it and are not sure where to start. I’ve been doing her PT group sessions for women since January and they are inclusive, friendly and great fun. I’d highly recommend giving it a go.”

Most women aren’t struggling because they don’t care.
They’re struggling because they’ve been given bad advice.
You do not need:
❌ another crash diet
You need:
✔ strength
✔ structure
✔ support
✔ consistency

Most women don’t need more discipline.
They need a strategy that works with their lifestyle, hormones, recovery, and stage of life.
If any of these sound familiar, you’re exactly who I created my free Over 40 Guide for.

One of the biggest myths I see women believe is:
“If I could just find the motivation, I’d finally get results.”
But after coaching hundreds of women, I don’t think motivation is the problem at all.
Most women I work with are incredibly motivated.
They’ve joined slimming clubs.
Started diets.
Bought meal plans.
Signed up for gyms.
The issue isn’t motivation.
It’s that they’ve spent years trying plans that don’t fit their life.
When you’ve got work, family, responsibilities, poor sleep, stress, hormonal changes and everything else life throws at you…
You don’t need a perfect plan.
You need a realistic one.
The women who get the best results aren’t the most motivated.
They’re the ones who learn how to keep going when motivation disappears.
That’s where confidence comes from.
Not from never struggling.
But from proving to yourself that you can keep showing up anyway.
Can you relate?

A client said something to me recently that really stuck.
She said:
“I joined because I wanted to lose weight… but staying active is helping me in ways I never expected.”
And honestly, I hear versions of that all the time.
Women come wanting:
✔ fat loss
But they end up gaining:
✔ more energy
✔ better sleep
✔ less aches and pains
✔ more confidence
✔ better mobility
✔ a stronger mindset
Because health is never just about the scales.
The scales don’t tell you:
* if your knees hurt less
* if you’re sleeping better
* if you’re stronger than last month
* if you’re feeling happier in yourself
Those wins matter too.
In fact, I’d argue they’re the things that help results last.
What’s a non-scale win you’ve noticed recently?
Not everything needs to be intense to be effective. Walking helps: ✔ stress levels ✔ energy ✔ recovery ✔ fat loss ✔ mental wellbeing Never underestimate simple habits done consistently. Comment 🚶♀️ if you’ve been walking more lately.
Muscle isn’t just about aesthetics. It helps with: ✔ mobility ✔ balance ✔ metabolism ✔ joint support ✔ confidence ✔ healthy ageing Strength training is one of the best things women 40+ can do for long-term health.
