A much improved 2nd half performance saw The George pick up maximum points this morning to solidify their position at the top of the league, after a lacklustre first half where we were 2nd best against Greengates FC.

A hat-trick for Josh Coe - including a wonderful top bins effort - and goals from Joe Templeton, Charlie Ashworth and Joe Kelly sealed the win for the home side.

With Bradford Council already calling off their pitches this weekend, The George have an opportunity to take advantage and cement their place at the top of the table……..if our pitch can hold up against the elements!

A tough game awaits against a resurgent Greengates FC, who have found some recent form, climbed to 5th in the league, and who’s TikTok admin would love nothing more than to have some content for the Cogs fans 👀😂
