Hi again we are truly sorry and out of our control, our lakes will continue to stay closed until further notice. We will update everyone via our page, when conditions have improved for the safety and wellbeing of our fish. We do appreciate everyone's support during this 5 heatwave, take care and keep hydrated look out for the older people within all your communities. Best wishes

Due to forecasted weather conditions and low oxygen levels
All our lakes will be closed as of Tomorrow Wednesday 12th August 2026 and will reopen Saturday morning 15th August 2026 at 7am.

Great to see some familiar faces back at the waters edge... Atkins, Magpie and Dodds...all entertaining many anglers. Some great catches noted today...a few even P.B's smashed. Also great to see no one disregarding the individual waters rules.Due to the heat and low oxygen levels we are enforcing no pictures and asking that you return your catch immediately to the lake. Thanks for your continued support.

🎣🎣**Reopening Magpie lake today 11th July 2026 **🎣🎣
Thanks to everyone for your support and appreciation of why we need to monitor water temperatures oxygen levels etc etc and act on it.

***A very important notice***
Unfortunately due to weather conditions, ie increased water temperatures and depleting oxygen levels we have taken the decision to close Magpie lake today 09/07/2026 until further notice. Please keep an eye on this page for further updates. We are sure you all understand the welfare of our fish is paramount.Prolonged heatwaves and high water temperatures cause thermal stress and critically lower dissolved oxygen levels.
Catching and releasing fish in these conditions leads to high mortality rates, even after the fish appears to recover.
