Had the most fantastic present from a few of my young black & brown belt students this evening. Just goes to show that they listen in class (or am I really that predicable 🧐)

Anyway, it made me laugh and I will treasure this

9-10am all grades class
10-11am Heian Nidan session
11am-midday Heian Sandan session

Quick reminder : there are NO senior classes tonight as the hall’s not available. Saturday classes on as normal.

T-shirts fine for training today guys (if you’ve got dry fit that’s ideal) belts optional too. Make sure you bring plenty of cold water, it’s another toasty one today.

Hi everyone,

Due to the high temperatures, I will be running tonight’s classes in Lisvane, as the hall there has good ventilation and will be a much more comfortable training environment.

However, I will NOT be running classes tomorrow at Pontprennau Primary. The hall has no windows or air conditioning and can become very hot and stuffy even in normal weather, so with the temperatures expected to be even higher tomorrow I don’t feel it would be appropriate to train there.

Emma will still be running her classes at Pontprennau Community Church, which is air-conditioned. Any students under 16 are welcome to train with her at 6:00pm (finishing at 6:40pm).

Although the situation is beyond my control, I appreciate that this is a cancelled training session. Any students affected are welcome to attend an additional class once the weather cools down to make up for the missed lesson.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but I hope you understand why I’ve made this decision. The safety and wellbeing of our students must come first.

Slightly Earlier Finish Tonight

Hi guys,
Tonight’s class in Lisvane will finish 10mins earlier at 6:50pm as the Lisvane Singers have their annual Festival Performance.

Parent please remember to pick children up a little earlier.

Really happy with today’s grading. Some excellent stuff shown, especially by our purple (or should I now say brown ) belts. Really great effort by everyone, including those who need a bit more practice to grade (stick at it, it really won’t be long). Off shopping now…. This rock n roll lifestyle is never ending 🙄🤣🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙇🏻‍♂️🥋
