We've got loads of lettuce!
Our green-fingered volunteers have outdone themselves once again, and we've ended up with way more lettuce than we could ever eat by ourselves. Pop in to the garden on Saturday 1st August to grab a few leaves, a whole lettuce plant, or to help us plant out our next crop.
We'd appreciate anything you can give in return, whether it's your spare change, your time, or your company. We've always got plenty of garden jobs you could help out with!

Today was all about exactly why we volunteer our spare time to open the community garden 💚
We welcomed so many volunteers and visitors to our magical corner of Roath.
Thank you to everyone who planted, watered, weeded, learnt about seed collection with Izzy McLeod and Q***r Community Gardening, and made incredibly generous donations in return for our surplus tomato and cucumber plants to help us keep the community garden open 🌻
We'll see you all next Saturday 10am-1pm 😎

Does anyone cook with vine leaves? Our grapevine needs trimming 🍇
Pop into the community garden Saturdays 10am-1pm if you'd like to pick some.

Fancy some home grown salad?
We've got some tasty fruit and veg ready to harvest in the garden this week. If you fancy some lettuce, radishes, or a cucumber, drop by and see us between 10 and 1 tomorrow.
If you can't make it tomorrow then don't panic - we're open every Saturday morning on Arran Street .

We've got too many tomatoes (and cucumbers)!
We've got a glut of tomato and cucumber plants in the polytunnel and we don't have enough space to plant them. If you'd like to grab one of the spare plants to grow at home, drop by the garden on Saturday 25th July and leave us a donation (if you're able).

The sun didn't stop us today!
Volunteers carried out some epic watering, plants were staked and deadheaded, trees were trimmed and the garden had good old weeding.
The Q***r Community Gardening event went very well and wood chips were innoculated 🍄
If you'd like to come and visit the garden either to eat your treats from the farmer's market or lend a hand we're open Saturdays 10-1pm 🌱
