Dyma stori Steven...๐Ÿ“– From his first duathlon in freezing Tadcaster conditions in 1989 to racing at the British Sprint Duathlon Championships this year, Stevenโ€™s journey in triathlon and duathlon has been incredible.

A former middle-distance runner, Steven discovered multisport after an ankle injury led him to cycling. He soon became hooked on duathlon, winning his first Welsh Duathlon title in 1994 at Maindy Velodrome before going on to finish 4th in his age group at the World Duathlon Championships in Tasmania later that year.

After stepping away from racing for several years, Steven returned to competition and, remarkably, claimed his second Welsh title 31 years after his first, still riding the same Giant Peloton 8200.

Most recently, Steven represented Tรฎm Tri Cymru at the British Sprint Duathlon Championships at Oulton Park, finishing 7th in his age group.

An incredible story of resilience, longevity and one very loyal bike ๐Ÿšด Read his full story here ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://welshtriathlon.org/the-bike-thats-gone-the-distance-stevens-story/

The Series is known for its fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, providing accessible midweek racing for athletes aged 15+ and a brilliant opportunity for race practice and open water experience.

Itโ€™s set to be a fantastic evening of racing, good luck everyone and have fun!
