1sts start the season with a bang! 💥
Northbank took the lead early in the 1st half through Jack Dalton but Kingsley Grandison levelled shortly after. Josh Morley gave us the lead in the second half before Ellis Dickinson added a quick fire double to make it 4-1. Jameslee Reynolds grabbed another 2 goals, both superb finishes to make it an emphatic win. Dickinson and Reynolds were both denied hat tricks by the offside flag.

The YDT fell to defeat away to Carlisle City Reserves in a tight game at Gillford Park. Kie Bell scored a well worked equaliser in the 2nd half but couldn’t hold on for a point

2 local derbies tonight with the 1sts starting the season at home to Northbank and the YDT facing Carlisle City FC Official Reserves at Gillford Park.

Pre-season ends with a win on penalties against Northside to clinch the Tony Barnett Memorial trophy.
Ellis Dickinson drew us level from the spot after Jameslee Reynolds was fouled in the area and the match ended 1-1.

Young goalkeeper Freddie Taylor pulled off a superb save in the shootout and Dickinson, Grandison, Nicholson and captain Nath Johnstone converted for a 4-2 win.

Next up for the 1st team is the Cumberland County Football League Cumbrian version of the Charity Shield as we face Northside FC at the Fibrus Community Stadium, Workington on Friday.
