Thinning lifeless hair ???
What happens to your hair during menopause. Estrogen affects the growth cycle of your hair, your scalp and follicle health, and the natural oils that keep hair smooth and lustrous. So, when estrogen levels go down as you move through menopause, your hair may shed, thin, lose density, change texture, and become dry.
⭐️This is actually me an hour ago - and I use Kerastase Genesis products which fortifies and nourishes .
⭐️I also go to an amazing hairdresser , where you can buy these products and have your hair looking a million dollars

Ugh, the dreaded bloat. You wake up feeling lean, but as the day goes on, the bloat adds up. No fun!
There can many reasons for bloating, but we see a few common behavior-based culprits... many of which women
*think* are healthy habits based on marketing.
Healthy foods that might cause bloating: Hummous , cottage cheese, diet fizzy drinks , nut butter, salad, yogurt , chickpeas .
Which of these resonate with you?

Beetroot - You either love it or hate it!!?!
But why are there many claims of its health benefits?
I love so many of the healthy attributes of beetroot! The main feature I’m highlighting is all the prebiotic ingredients - like beetroot’s polyphenols & natural fibre which help to feed your beneficial gut bacteria. That means they help your gut microbiome to flourish!
During the perimenopause & post-menopause, plus sometimes during the monthly pre-period week, the gut can become out of balance & this can lead to changes that might mean you are either more constipated or have looser poos, maybe also some gut bloating/cramping
Prebiotic foods help to feed the beneficial gut microbiota & may help your gut da In fact, these benefits, such as the Betalains, including Betanin in beetroot, have further anti-inflammatory effects to help your blood sugar balance, & cardiovascular health including potentially helping to lower LDL cholesterol, & benefits mood too.
Plus beetroot contains many other important nutrients; For example, vit C, folate, potassium & (here’s one you may not have heard of) nitrate, the precursor to nitric oxide, which may help increase the lumen size of your blood vessels allowing more oxygen to flow, improving efficiency, especially with muscle recovery. This may lead to a slight reduction in blood pressure & help improve cognition. Plus did you know beetroot pairs up beautifully with chocolate?
You can eat the green leafy tops of beetroot (great as a serving of green leafy veg for your daily greens). I like to stir-fry them with onions, chilli, & garlic.
Let me know the ways you like to use beetroot!

This is why Exercise and diet are key in perimenopause and beyond . You need seratonin … this is produced when exercising . Just 6 minutes of high intensity exercise a day would make you feel better than antidepressants … Don’t just sit there - get moving , feel better .

Menopausal women are the fastest-growing demographic in the workforce.
They are an ageing population organisations need to look after their ‘older’ workers to have the talent they need to run their business.
But working environments like those with a lack of temperature control, cramped conditions, some uniforms, and stress can also make menopause symptoms worse
Managers don’t need to be medical experts, nor should they be. A good level of knowledge and understanding of how they can support them makes a big difference.
Menopause Care offers companies training and advice on how best to support menopausal women in their workforce. Get in touch to find out more…
