If ever there was a warning not to let your mate have a look at your rifle....its this.
I have seen some DIY jobs in my 35 years working with air rifles but this one has got to be the worst one I've seen.
PTFE tape on the stock bolt
None standard valve
Barrel stuck in the block
Valve block seal seat totally buggered
Valve housing drilled out
A screw in the cylinder vent hole
A oversized seal on the valve block (presumably because it won't seal)

The moto of this story is ;
If you want your rifle servicing, take it to someone who is proficient....not your mate with a drill and no idea what he's doing.
