On top of a day's showing at our Grassroots Summer Showing Show on August Bank Holiday, for your ice cream and coffee needs we have Bus and Bug vintage VW 1972 ice cream van and Little Vintage Tin retro coffee caravan. And amazing pizzas from The Pizza Oven.

Denners Tack Shop will be on site too for any bits and pieces you may need during the day.

NEW for this year Blyth Livestock Advisor will be in attendance for advice on condition, worming and related health issues and will be bringing their weighbridge so you can have your horse accurately weighed.

Thank you to each and every one of you who attended our One Day Camp, it was such a fantastic day!

Polework lessons taught by the wonderful Nicki Bates from Team Bates.
Always such a pleasure to watch Nicki teach, she really caters for every rider and can easily adapt any of her exercises to suit any horse/rider combination.

Fantastic flatwork sessions with Nikki Hawkins, these were a great success and every rider came out of the ring beaming with their achievements.
There were lots of positive and constructive pointers for every rider to take home and improve on.

Matt from Blyth Livestock Advisor came along with his weighbridge and it was great to see how different everyone's guestimate weights were, compared to the real weight.
Well done Portia Gibson for having the closest guess weight of your pony!

Our showjumping arena was the perfect place to let nervous/green horses have a mooch at their own leisure, looking at all the brightly coloured poles and fillers.

TREC obstacles were definitely a firm favourite for everyone, whether that were ridden or in-hand.
This is great for any horse whether they are experienced or have never done it before.
Includes lots of things you may encounter when out hacking; bridges, low tree branches and weaving in and out of obstacles.

At the end of the day, we had an informative talk from local vet Ed at Equine - Williams Vets about all things first aid for your horse; when to use your initiative and when you really need to call the vet.

Great to see you all relaxing, enjoying your picnics at lunch time and having a wonderful day with your horses!

What a fun 24hrs we have had down in the club field. Thank you to all the helpers for helping and competitors for coming out to play.

Last night was the 2nd in our dressdown dressage series. Lovely to see some returning competitors and a few newbies out between the white boards.
