Chichester Yacht Club was delighted to host the South’s Optimist sailors for an open meeting this weekend. The weather was glorious and we were blessed with some excellent breeze for the highly competitive racing. Congratulations to all sailors in the main and regatta fleets and special mentions to Oscar Stephens from Bosham SC finishing ahead of Toby Jones in a close second place as first C*C boat in the main fleet. Also congratulations to Witek Boniki from North Herts and East Beds SC for first place in the Regatta Fleet with Charlotte Morrell as first C*C boat. Thank you to all our C*C volunteers for putting on such a great day and we look forward to welcoming the Optimists back next year.

Look out for our late Autumn series for members and friends and also our popular open Snowflake series in January.

Join us every 3rd Friday of the month for Quiz Night with Alan Silvester.

Quiz starts at 8pm.

£2 per person, cash only, with a cash prize for the winning team on the night and a league jackpot up for grabs! 🏆

Join us at Chichester Yacht Club to watch the solar eclipse from the harbour. Eclipse glasses will be available to purchase at the club, so you can enjoy the event safely 🌙 ☀️

For the eclipse, we’ll be welcoming members, their guests and visiting yachtsmen as usual. The club won’t be open to the wider public on this occasion, but we look forward to welcoming everyone at our Open Weekend on 29th & 30th August.
