The legendary Les Mills has passed away at the age of 91.

Before he became a household name in fitness, Les was a four-time Olympian who opened a single gym in New Zealand in 1968. His goal was simple: to bring people together through the power of group exercise. Today, that vision reaches millions of participants in thousands of clubs worldwide every single week.

Here at Leisure World, our LesMills BodyPump, BodyCombat, and BodyBalance classes have already welcomed more than 5,000 attendances this year alone!

Every class is a reminder of how one person’s vision can keep a community active, healthy, and connected. Thank you, Les Mills. 🤍

We want to give a huge shoutout to Michael Bond, who recently represented Team GB at the European Age Group Triathlon in Tarragona, Spain!

Michael took on a grueling course in soaring 29°C temperatures, not only placing an incredible 12th overall in the M70-74 age group, but he also clocked his fastest time at this distance in 3 years (2:51:37)!

For the last few years, Leisure World has been proud to support Michael’s incredible 10-year Team GB career by providing him with membership access, where he trains 2–3 times a week in our Fitness Pool.
