Swimming at Colchester is based on the belief that we are offering an enjoyable, competitive learning environment for swimmers of all abilities to thrive in. We provide a wide spectrum of swimming opportunities: lessons in our Academy, Competitive swimming squads, Masters swimming and Water Polo. Our competitive squads enjoy the benefits of a good coaching programme led by committed and qualified coaches, hard working committee members and helpers. Our swimmers regularly compete at County, Regional and National level. We enter a range of inter-club competitions and open meets throughout the year to challenge and meet the needs of all our swimmers. We are committed to helping each swimmer reach their potential and develop their confidence whilst learning to respect others, be ambitious and determined. To achieve this, we have developed a friendly, supportive team of coaches and helpers. We believe each swimmer should be able to enjoy the healthy benefits of sport in a safe and caring environment. Nurturing their natural ability or keen interest to learn, at all levels. Our ultimate goal is to provide a pathway to a lifetime involvement in swimming and other aquatic sports.
