🛼 What to expect tomorrow…

If you’re joining us tomorrow, here’s what’s happening throughout the day!

Alongside plenty of opportunities to skate, we’ll be welcoming some fantastic local clubs who’ll be showcasing what they do through demonstrations and taster sessions.

These displays are a chance to get inspired, see what can be achieved on wheels, and maybe even have a go yourself! Whether you’re interested in roller hockey, artistic skating or roller derby, there’s something for everyone.

Don’t worry if you just want to skate – normal skating will continue at one end of the hall during most demonstrations, so you’ll still have plenty of space to enjoy your session.

👀 Spectators are welcome too – no ticket needed!

Stretching back more than 145 years, roller hockey has a rich history and an exciting future. From local clubs to international competitions, generations of players have enjoyed the sport, and many more are still discovering it today.

Maybe it's time to become part of the next chapter. 🧡🖤

Two strong wins today in the final tournament of the season!

We finished a close second in the league and our goal difference was impressive. Congratulations to Farnham RHC for winning the league.

Today we beat Kings Lynn 4-1 and Soham 9-0.

Thanks to Skaters for Lauren and Lily, Peterborough for Soph and Manchester for Harliee.

Our appreciation to the organisers of this league and all the officials and referees who have made this fantastic initiative happen.

2026 Under 11 Player of the Year – Louie Theobald Colchester Rink Hockey Club Soham Rink Hockey Club

Louie Theobald has enjoyed a fantastic season, establishing himself as one of the most exciting young players in the country. Whether representing Colchester, Soham, or the Eastern Counties region, he has consistently demonstrated the quality, enthusiasm, and determination that make him such a promising talent for the future.

In front of goal, Louie has been outstanding. Scoring 37 goals in just 10 games, he finished as the top scorer in every competition he entered, providing a constant attacking threat and delivering when his teams needed him most. His ability to find space, create opportunities, and finish chances has made him a standout performer throughout the season.

Beyond the goals, Louie's all-round game continues to develop at an impressive rate. His technical ability, confidence on the ball, and willingness to learn have helped him make a significant impact wherever he has played. Those qualities were also on display when representing the Eastern Counties at last weekend's Inter-Regional Championships.

His progress has also been recognised within the England pathway, where he continues to excel at England Academy and has already achieved a Level 3 grade. For a player of his age, that achievement highlights both his current ability and the potential that lies ahead.

With a fantastic attitude towards learning and improvement, Louie has all the ingredients to continue progressing through the age groups. This season has been another important milestone in his development, and everyone will be excited to watch his journey unfold in the years ahead.
