Join us on the 6th September between 9:30 and 15:30 to join in with some hockey action, getting to know you sessions, kit purchases, raffle and more to be announced!

BACK TO HOCKEY IS BACK!

Join us from Thursday 6th August between 19:00 and 19:30 to come and join in with some hockey.

Whether you have never played and just fancy a go, or you've been out for a while and are nervously returning, or maybe you've changed location and want to give Colchester a go, come join in, meet us, and have some fun!

For £25 for 6 weeks what have you got to lose?! With pre-loved equipment available to use you don't need to get spending before you are ready. And the best part? If you join us after the 6 weeks then that is put towards your membership costs.

So if you are over 13 and want to come for some back to hockey then drop us a message or reach out via the contacts in the image and we will get you set up!

We spent yesterday at The Tendring Show and had such a great time!

We got to talk to loads of people, introduce lots of children to hockey, and remind a few adults about what a great sport hockey is!

There was some lovely arguments about who got to try on the goal keeper kits next and be shot at, some fun races across the grass, and lots of stickers given out.

We got to have a good wander round the show though we didn't manage to see all of it, and try out lots of activities (Mindy I remind you again, no you cannot take up baseball 😂😂)

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our former Club Chairman, Bryan Patterson.

​Bryan was at the heartbeat of Colchester Hockey Club for decades. With well over thirty years of dedicated service to the club, he proudly steered us through major milestones—including leading us as Chairman during our historic Centenary year in 2008.

​Bryan passionately believed that hockey should welcome members from "all walks of life" and create a friendly atmosphere where people could make lifelong friends. He championed our youth development and Sunday morning coaching, ensuring the next generation fell in love with the sport just as he did.

​His dedication, warmth, and leadership shaped the club we are today. Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and everyone in the CHC community who knew him.

​Rest in peace, Bryan.

Summer League is over! Both our ladies teams finished with wins on Tuesday night over at Rushmere.

We take a playing break for July but will be back for Pre-Season in August. Don't miss us too much though as we will be at the Tendring Show on July 11th so come say hello!
