Never done an OCR before?

Then Farmyard Jam could be the perfect place to start! 🌾

You don’t need to be an elite athlete.
You don’t need years of OCR experience.
And you definitely don’t need to know what you’re doing! 😂

You’ve got 5K of trails, obstacles to climb over, crawl under, hang from and get through — and you can take it at your own pace. Especially if your only doing 1 lap

Come with your mates, have a laugh, get muddy and see what you’re capable of.

Everyone has to do their first OCR sometime.

🐄 24 LAPS. 24 HOURS. ONE HELL OF A STORY. 🏆

Sam MacLeish came to Farmyard Jam 2026 with a plan…

The plan?

11 laps.
One more than he’d managed the year before.

Have some fun.
Eat some food.
Cheer on the other runners.
Get some sleep in the tent.

Simple enough, right? 😂

20 laps later…

Sam was getting a talking-to from Alan because he wasn’t exactly thrilled about the prospect of getting wet again! 🌊😂

But after 20 hours of Jamie and Alan doing what they do best — encouraging runners to stop after every lap, while somehow convincing them to carry on — Sam decided:

“I’ve never managed to do a 24-hour race… so let’s at least try.”

And then came lap 24.

Standing on that start line, Sam still had some fight left.

23 minutes later…

🏆 24 HOURS COMPLETED.
🏆 24 LAPS COMPLETED.
🏆 FARMYARD JAM WINNER.

HE’D ONLY BLOODY WON IT! 🤯🔥

From arriving hoping to beat last year’s 10 laps…

To walking away as a 24-hour Farmyard Jam champion.

And the best part?

This was only Sam’s third Farmyard Jam.

His verdict?

“I’ll be back every year without fail.” ❤️🐄
