THRUXTON | WEEKEND Round Up

A SPECIAL WEEKEND FOR DJ RACING 🏆

Thruxton was a weekend that will mean a lot to all of us at DJ Racing.
Lewis showed great pace from the start, finishing P4 in Free Practice before qualifying P6 on Saturday morning.
Race 1 was a brilliant battle. Lewis ran with the leading group throughout, led the race for a number of laps and eventually crossed the line in P3 to give us our first podium of the weekend.
On Sunday, starting Race 2 from P7, Lewis once again put himself right in the fight at the front. It came down to the very last corner, where he made the move to take the chequered flag and secure his first BSB victory — and the first BSB win for DJ Racing.
Two races, two podiums and our first win. 🏆
As Team Principal, I’m incredibly proud of Lewis and everyone involved with DJ Racing. We’re a small team from Ireland competing at a very high level in one of the most competitive championships in the world and to come away from Thruxton with two podiums and our first BSB win is something very special for all of us.
Weekends like this make all the hours, travelling and hard work worthwhile.
A massive thank you to all the lads in the garage and everyone who puts their time and effort into the team as without them this would never have happened. And of course we want to thank everyone at Elcofire for continuing to believe in and support what we’re trying to achieve.
And of course not forgetting all our other partners as without everyone's support we wouldn't be able to do it .

OULTON PARK | WEEKEND ROUND-UP

Oulton Park was another valuable learning weekend for Lewis and the team.
After qualifying P11, Lewis made a strong start in Race 1 from the fourth row, climbing to P7 before developing grip issues on lap four. He battled on to secure valuable championship points with a P10 finish.
Following overnight changes to the bike, Race 2 showed the progress made. Lewis set a new personal best lap around Oulton Park, taking a further 0.6 seconds off his previous best on his way to a P6 finish and another strong haul of championship points.
With two rounds remaining, Lewis remains fifth in the championship and now looks ahead to Thruxton in 2 weeks time

WEEKEND REPORT | BRANDS HATCH | ROUND 5

Another points-scoring weekend for DJ Racing as Lewis continued his development on the Yamaha R7 at the challenging Brands Hatch circuit.
Qualifying saw Lewis secure P5, earning a place on the second row of the grid and putting himself in a strong position for the races.

In Race 1, Lewis made an excellent start and ran with the leading group throughout the opening half of the race. Unfortunately, a cracked exhaust caused the bike to lose power midway through the race, dropping him back through the field. Despite the setback, he showed determination to bring the bike home in P8 and collect important championship points.

Starting from P10 in Race 2, Lewis once again got away strongly and spent much of the race involved in an exciting six-rider battle for the podium positions before bringing the bike home in another solid P5 finish.

There were plenty of positives to take from the weekend, and we'll continue to build on them as we head into the next round at Oulton Park.

A huge thank you to our sponsors for their continued support throughout the season: Elcofire, Nedar Heat, JOG Tuning,Unlimited Industries,Ernie Coates Race Support, Moto4U.ie, A Rate Plumbing & Heating, Arrandale Construction, Kerry Plant Sales, and AOR.
