Bees played out game week 6
On the road yesterday v mackworth tigers.
Which turned out to be the complete reverse from our home fixture,
Bees had plenty of chances but couldn't find the target,
Mackworths passing was too clinical for the bees to deal with
And managed to play straight though us
Games like this do help and show weaknesses that we are able to build on in training
Jackob got the bees goal today with a long drive from his own half going it alone

Kestrels were against Mackworth in a friendly yesterday. A rapid start from the kestrels saw Reuben score twice in the first 2 minutes directly from corners. After that we seemed to fall asleep and conceded 3 rapid fire goals ourselves. With the strong wind making it a struggle for both teams we just couldn’t seem to get going today and lapses of concentration really cost us throughout. Towards the end of the game we started to wake up and Deontay got us one back to fire us up. A couple of own goals from our corners and another goal for Mackworth meant it ended all square with the help of Marley making some brilliant saves whilst helping out in goal today. A good run out as we build towards the new season. Thank you to Mackworth for having us 💙

The Bees took on spondon dynamo rangers today in a friendly match at stockbrook park

A slow start today but the bees grew into the game Oshea upfront again pressing much better today forcing a few mistakes and allowing the bees to win loose balls in the middle
Bees faster at closing down at the back too
Made a massive difference in slowing down the oppositions attacks
Connor bagged his first goal today for the bees and his confidence is really starting to grow worked really hard through out
Bees 2nd went to Shea following in balls happy with this as this is something we try and get everybody to do follow everything there's always a chance
And today it showed true
Nate bagged number 3 well deserved as got a few good shots away today.
Unfortunately we fell to sleep at the end and welcomed spondon back into the game for it to finish level
All in all a good show from the bees more positives again

Vice captain, Connor Treanor , as coaches we feel this is a move to benefit the player and the team, trying to help Connor bring the standard he’s capable off on the pitch, as we said to the players we know this may be a head turner, him and the boys have been made aware that any hiccups from now will result in vice captain being reallocated!

Kestrels were in tournament action for the first time today and they didn’t disappoint. Across the five group games we had spells of excellent passing football in matches that were competitive from start to finish. From worldie saves from Harry and precise finishing from ozzy and Deontay every player gave it their best all day. Really good experience for the lads and they all enjoyed the day.

Harry fletcher takes player of the tournament for his bravery and saving his team on more than one occasion!🏆

Bees went on there travels upto springwood today
For Match 5 of their summer league campaign
Springwood were on it from the off
Scoring for fun
The bees couldn't get out of 1st gear
Plenty of attacks but unable to finish the build ups created.
Well behind at half time.
We were able to regroup after the halftime talk
And woke up
Jacob got the bees 1st then confidence was glowing throughout the whole team bees kept pushing and managed to get there noses in front.

Springwood weren't done and did manage to fight back
Bees slow to help defend cost us today
Still a great effort.
