Jack will work closely with clubs across Derbyshire, supporting their development and helping them to grow and thrive.

He brings over 10 years of experience across grassroots, education and talent development, including seven years at Derby County Community Trust, as well as international coaching experience in America.

📖 Uncovering 143 years of Derbyshire football history.

We’ve begun an exciting new project to catalogue and preserve Derbyshire FA’s history, exploring trophies, handbooks, minute books and more dating all the way back to our formation in 1883.

With the help of official Derby County historian Andy Ellis, we’ll be uncovering the stories of the clubs, leagues and people who have helped shape football across the county.

This is just the beginning, with plenty more to come as we bring Derbyshire’s footballing history to life.

Last Friday, we welcomed back those who joined us for Football Friends & Memories, in partnership with Alzheimer's Society in May for a special movie night!

We all gathered together to watch the film created by Chesterfield FC Community Trust and relive some of the brilliant moments from the day.

It was lovely to bring everyone back together and round off such a memorable event. 💙⚽

Yesterday, we held our Switch In Play event, bringing referees and coaches from the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League together to talk, learn and better understand each other’s roles.

The day included theoretical workshops and scenarios, alongside practical sessions where coaches and referees even had the chance to swap roles out on the pitch. ⚽

🔄 SWITCH IN PLAY

This Sunday, coaches and referees will swap roles and share perspectives as part of our Switch In Play event, in collaboration with the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League.

The aim? To better understand each other’s roles, learn from one another and strengthen the game. ⚽
