Dance floor
As many of you know the dance floor at Derby was pretty sticky last Monday. I have spoken to the manager who has escalated to the cleaners, to ensure it’s back to its usual standard high tomorrow.
Please come to me if the floor is sticky and don’t resort to talc on your shoes, that is very abrasive and will damage the floor.
We have dance dust with us to use if needs be. This is like a floor polish that feeds the wood, when we sprinkle it your shoes spread it around the floor and push it into the wood, removing the stickiness. It must be used with caution by us only as it can always make the floor too slippy!!
