6 point weekend for Eaton!!!

Firsts had a tough battle in the first half, edging out Markeaton 2-1 going into the break… the boys kept pushing and showed their quality in the second half putting another 3 in the onion bag!!

Reserves had to dig deep to get their 3 points… end to end stuff in the first half but the deadlock wasn’t broken… was looking like it could finish a no score draw until the lead was taken half way through the second half and points were secured with the very last kick of the game!

This weeks Coxbench Hall Residential Care Home MOTM were goal machine Jordan Wright for the Firsts and the brick wall between the sticks John Astle for the Reserves

Good Morning Sports fans!!

International break still boring you?
Discussing Citeh’s potential punishments the only thing keeping you going? Pop down and discuss it while you cheer on the Eaton boys!!

You could stay local and watch the Firsts take on Markeaton at St Peter’s Park or you can travel across Derby to Aston-on-Trent and watch the Reserves take on Aston Village…

If not… pop your thoughts on how City should be punished in the comments 😉

Total dominance from the reserves today!
Going 1-0 up early on… a mistake at the back gave Punjab their goal… making it 1-1 but after that the boys turned on the style and were ruthless… not taking their foot off the gas for the full 90 minutes… top performances from everyone involved… subs were brilliant when they came on and gave Punjab even more of a headache…

Coxbench Hall Residential Care Home MOTM could have gone to number of players but goes to Toby Paulson and his 4 goal Haul…

Two disappointing results at the weekend for Eaton… but the performances weren’t exactly ones to turn your nose up at…

A game of two halves for the Firsts, an entertaining 10 goal thriller had us dominating the first half and going in at half time 4-1 up…
A sloppy second half gave donington the chance to pull it back and score 5 taking all 3 points…

Reserves with a thin squad and and a number of first half injuries did well to keep Donington out with the majority of the goals coming in the last 10/15 minutes… a couple of set pieces, a worldie and some tired legs settled the game…

Coxbench Hall Residential Care Home MOTM goes to Daniel Pebz Peberdy for the first team and Lewis Clewley for the reserves… well done boys!

!! Player Sponsorship !!

The first of a number of announcements for our player sponsorships…
One of our youngest and most talented players at the club, Luca Moylan, has been generously sponsored by long standing local business Barry Fitch Butchers… only a stones throw from our home ground offering quality food and drink!

Thank you for your support for the club and the player!

Mixed results for Eaton yesterday….

Firsts start the season with a bang putting 5 past Ingles Reserves but couldn’t quite keep the clean sheet!

Reserves putting in a good performance but very unfortunate to be at 1-1… a dubious penalty decision given against them and then conceding a 3rd whilst pushing for an equaliser!

Coxbench Hall Residential Care Home MOTM goes to James Marriott for the Firsts and George Messam for the Reserves…

Gooooooood Morning sports fans….

And we are back!!!

It’s the start of the 26/27 season for Eaton…

After a summer of World Cup rubbish… the real football is back!

Boys have been working hard pre season and are raring to go….

A rare home game to start the season for the Firsts… they host a new team to the league down at St Peter’s Park, welcome Ingles FC Reserves…

Reserves start their campaign on the road… only one road though…. Sir Frank Whittle Road… as they take the short trip to take on Bargate Rovers at The Racecourse…

Earlier kick off for reserves so a chance to see both teams in action if you fancy a day out watching some local football…. Go on…. Do it 😉
