That's why our support isn't just about the person we care for, it's about supporting carers too.

Inspire Champion of the Month – Ceri! 🏆

This month, we’re celebrating Ceri for going above and beyond to support one of her clients and their family❤️

When a leak occurred at the client’s property, Ceri stepped in to help deal with the situation, making sure the client was supported, reassured and not left to face a stressful situation alone. Then cleaned the mess up herself.

At Inspire, we know that supporting someone is about so much more than the time spent providing a service. It’s about being there when things go wrong, helping families through difficult moments and making sure the people we support feel safe and cared for❤️

So, what does a befriender actually do?

There isn't one simple answer because every person is different.

Our befrienders might:

Go for a coffee☕
Take a walk🌳
Visit a garden centre🌸
Go shopping🛍️
Attend a local group or activity🎲
Spend time together at home🏠
Or simply sit and have a chat💬

But underneath all of these activities is something incredibly important, companionship.

Our aim is to help people stay connected, enjoy their community and find purpose in their everyday lives.
