It’s been a very productive start to Day 1 of week 2 and the gymnasts spent lunch outside in the shade on a warm sunny day

Day 1 of week 2 and everyone is eager to get started for a fun week of gymnastics.

This week seen the start of our Recreational Summer Camp.

Lots of new skills were introduced and new friendships discovered.

🏅 Salto Gymnastics Summer Recreational Competition 2026🏅

Emails have been sent out to all our Recreational gymnasts. These has been sent to the email that is registered to their British Gymnastics Membership. If you have not received the email and have a new one for correspondence please private message me this or send an email to [email protected]

Information for the following Summer Recreational Competition:

📅 Sunday 23rd August 2026

📍 Salto Gymnastics Centre, 15 Balunie Drive, Dundee, DD4 8PS

🕑 Start time: Approx. 2:00pm. Times will be staggered for age groups.

⚠️ Closing date for entries: Monday 3rd August 2026.

Please remember that the gym will be closed for our summer break from 27th July to 9th August so entries received after 27th July need to be returned by
e-mail.

Entries and payment must be received before the closing date. Late entries cannot be accepted.

If you would like your child to take part please collect one of the forms at the club or send me an email confirming your child will take part.

Our Summer Camps start this coming week.

We have 3 weeks of camps available this Summer. Our camps are open to our members and non-members.

Spaces will be limited and will fill up fast.

Times
10-3pm (Monday-Friday)
Option to stay until 4pm. See booking form for more information.

Dates
13th - 17th July
20th -24th July
10th - 14th August

Book 2 weeks to receive £10 discount off 2nd week booked.

Single days are also available.

Please note that payment must be made when booking to secure your child’s space, otherwise your child will not be added to the camp register and will not be allocated a place.

All classes run as normal along with camps during the Summer holidays.

Booking forms have been handed out to your child at class and are available at reception.

💷Fundraiser Total Update💷

Thank you to everyone who supported the latest fundraiser.

There was an astonishing £4264 raised which is outstanding and very humbling.

We appreciate your continued support.

✨Performance Camp Day 5✨

What an amazing week gymnasts and coaches have had at our Performance Camp.

Everyone has pushed themselves to the limit achieving new skills, new techniques, lots of learning and effective planning.

Our amazing guest High Performance Coaches Becki Campbell of and Matt Jackson of have been absolutely awesome and inspiring to work with.

The gymnasts had a water fight to finish off an intensive week of training before heading home for a well deserved weekend of rest.

As the weather continued to stay very warm today, and a few achy bodies, we spent a bit more time on team building and self reflecting in diaries on achievements at our Performance Camp this week.

This also enabled our coaches to reflect on their own performance this week and forward plan with our guest High Performance Coaches Becki Campbell of today.

Planning is essential for progress and success.

✨Performance Camp Day 3✨

It’s been a hot one in the gym today at our Performance Camp.

Some sore body’s from all the hard work this week but the gymnasts have still put in a shift as have our coaches along with our guest High Performance Coaches Becki Campbell of and Matt Jackson of .

New challenges overcome and new skills achieved by every single one of our gymnasts pushing themselves to the limit.
