Quiet classes today but a good opportunity to focus on what's needed to work on ahead of the next grading. Thanks as always to Sensei Rebecca and Andrew for their help.

A quiet little tigers class but some good work on turns and kicks. Tigers class had a new starter and one returning who did really well, also working on kicks. Seniors worked on a bit of everything, with some fun on the mats - Olivia brought 3 of her friends as new starters who all did really well with great enthusiasm!

A reminder that Hamsteels will be closed on Monday 31st August due to the bank holiday.

Working on a mix of things tonight but a few drills thrown in for some kicks at the first two classes. Good attendance over the summer so far, keep up the good work both in and out the dojo! As always thanks to everyone for lending a hand.

Good classes tonight, a bit more relaxed working on a mix of partner work, breakfalls, take downs and rolls across all ages and grades, a bit of fun had by all

More relaxed lessons tonight post grading. Little tigers worked on a few basics and kicks, with some fun had with learning counting in Japanese and ring toss. Tigers working on basics and then some basic locks, and another game of ring toss! Sessions was also relaxed, working on very slow kicking technique and precision. Thanks to all who helped.

Another new starter in our little tigers class who did really well today. Working towards the grading coming up on Saturday, thanks to all who lent a hand tonight.

Good classes tonight, with a new teen starter who did really well! Working towards grading in most classes, and slips have started to go out. I've given homework for most students to make sure they practice at home in the coming weeks, particularly Kata - we have video online of all kata that can be accessed by our members with a password that came in the membership pack. Please drop us a message if you need it 👍🏻

4 returning newbies who did really well, Membership forms given out. Little tigers looking at basics then had some fun at the end. Tigers mainly looking at tidying partner work, seniors looking at basics and kata, ensuring consistency.
