Next month, we are delighted to welcome students to another course at our Hombu Dojo.

The course will be taught by three of our Senior Instructors:

Andrew Thornton Sensei
Ian Tyler Sensei
Keith Murray Sensei

All three instructors bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to the tatami.

The course is open to students of all grades and organisations, and we warmly encourage everyone to come along and train.

We look forward to seeing you on the tatami!

Just a quick message to let you know that our class times will be changing during the non-term period.

New class times:

Monday: 8:00pm – 9:30pm
Friday: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am – 10:00am

Please also note that there will be no class on this Sunday (5th July)

Good evening,

Tonight, members of Prince Bishops and Durham University Aikido had the pleasure of visiting Malcolm Blackwood Sensei at Durham Aikikai.

All those who attended greatly enjoyed the session and would like to extend their thanks to Blackwood Sensei and his students for their warm welcome and hospitality.

We look forward to training together again soon.

Good Evening,

Last night was a special evening as we held our final class before students head off for the summer break or begin exciting new chapters in their lives.

We would like to thank all of our students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the year. We wish everyone a fantastic summer and look forward to welcoming you back to the dojo in September, ready for another great year of Aikido.

To those students who are moving on and will not be returning, we wish you every success in your future endeavours. It has been a privilege to have you train with us, and we hope you look back on your time with us fondly.

The evening was made even more memorable with another grading achievement. Erick Vidal was examined for 1st Kyu by Tony Heseltine Shihan and successfully passed and was permission to wear a hakama.

On Saturday 11th July we will be hosting our Summer Course at our Hombu Dojo.

The course will be led by Tony Heseltine Shihan, Head Instructor of our Durham Dojo.

Students of all grades and from all organisations are welcome to attend.
