⚽️ MATCH REPORT ⚽️

Beamish 7–0 Coxhoe United Blacks

A bad day at the office on paper today, but the scoreline certainly doesn’t tell the full story.

The lads kept going, worked hard and never gave up right through to the final whistle. Sometimes in football, things just don’t go your way. Results like this happen right across the board, from grassroots football all the way up to the Premier League — that’s football.

What matters now is how we respond. We learn from it, stick together, move forward and go again next week. 💪🔵⚫

🌟 MOTM – JACOB 🌟

A massive shout-out to Jacob today. Absolutely fantastic and living proof that hard work pays off! 👏

He got his start, played the majority of the game and did absolutely everything that was asked of him. He worked his socks off from start to finish and fully deserved his MOTM. Well done, son! 💙

🧤 SPECIAL MENTION – OLLY 🧤

Another big shout-out has to go to Olly. Oliver wasn’t quite himself in goal today and asked to come off, so Olly stepped up to the plate, put the gloves on and went between the sticks.

He took it completely in his stride and did everything he could for the team. Stepping into goal isn't easy, especially during a difficult game, so massive credit to you, son. 👏

One result doesn’t define this team. We win together, we lose together and we keep working together. 💙🖤

See you all Wednesday for training!

Heads up, lads. We go again! 💪

⚫🔵 MATCH REPORT – COXHOE UNITED U12 BLACKS 🔵⚫

🏆 League Vase – Round 1 ⚽ Sunderland Farringdon 4–3 Coxhoe Blacks

WHAT A PERFORMANCE FROM THE LADS TODAY! 👏🔥

Absolutely gutted to come away with the defeat, but I honestly couldn't be prouder of every single one of them!

The lads were brilliant from start to finish, showing fantastic effort, determination and teamwork. They battled for every ball, never gave up and gave absolutely everything out on that pitch. Unfortunately, football can be cruel sometimes, and today just wasn't our day!

⚽ Massive well done to all our goalscorers and those who provided the assists. Every single player played their part today!

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH – CHARLIE BOY! 🌟

A massive shout-out to Charlie for an absolutely cracking MOTM performance today! Fully deserved, mate. Keep up the fantastic work! 💪👏

We might be out of the cup, but there's plenty to take away from today's performance. Heads held high, lads! Results don't always reflect the effort you put in, and today was one of those days.

Back to league action next week, where we go again, stronger and hungrier than ever!

⚫🔵 FULL TIME | COXHOE BLACKS 6-3 WASHINGTON NSG 🔵⚫

What a game! 👏⚽

A brilliant end-to-end match today and I’m absolutely over the moon with the lads. Every single one of them put a shift in and they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. 💙🖤

⚽ Goals & assists coming from:
Seb ⚽
Will ⚽
Jack ⚽
Finley ⚽
Ginge ⚽
Sattam ⚽

Hats off to all the scorers and assisters today — some fantastic football played and, most importantly, a proper team performance! 👏

🏆 MOTM – JACK 🏆
Massive shout-out to Jack, who was an absolute engine in midfield. Never stopped working, battled for everything and gave us everything he had. Fully deserved MOTM! 💪🔥

🧤 Special mention to Olly in goal!
Stepping up and going between the sticks isn't for everyone, but Olly took it completely in his stride and had a cracking game. Brilliant attitude and a massive contribution to the team today. 👏💙

Honestly, proud as punch with every single one of them. The effort, teamwork and togetherness were there for everyone to see.

Enjoy this one lads — you earned it! 💙🖤

⚫🔵 MATCH REPORT – COXHOE UNITED BLACKS U12s 🔵⚫

⚽ Washington Dortmund 5–3 Coxhoe United Blacks

A result that definitely doesn’t tell the full story today!

The lads were brilliant from start to finish and can count themselves very unlucky not to come away with something from the game. We controlled probably 99% of the match, played some fantastic football and created plenty of chances — we just didn’t manage to take enough of them when they came.

That’s football sometimes! ⚽

The effort, attitude and work rate from every single player was outstanding. There are loads of positives to take from the performance, and if we keep playing football like that, the results will come. 💪

⭐ MOTM – Ginge
A fantastic performance and thoroughly deserved! 👏

⚽ Goalscorer – Seb
Clinical when his opportunities came! 🔥⚽

Massive well done to every single one of the lads. Keep your heads up — plenty to be proud of today!

We learn, we move forward and we go again next week! 💙🖤

⚫🔵 MATCH REPORT | U12 BLACKS 🔵⚫

📅 Saturday 5th September 2026
⚽ Coxhoe United U12 Blacks 🆚 Farringdon Detached
🏆 First League Game | 2026/27 Season
FT: Coxhoe United Blacks 5–7 Farringdon Detached

What a way to get the new season underway! 👏⚽

The lads were absolutely brilliant from start to finish and can count themselves very unlucky to come away on the wrong side of a 7–5 scoreline.

The result definitely doesn't tell the full story. The boys showed some fantastic football going forward, worked hard for each other and, most importantly, never gave up. Even when the game looked like it might be getting away from us, the lads kept battling, kept creating chances and kept believing right until the final whistle. 💪

There are obviously things for us to work on in training — that's what the start of a new season is all about — but there were so many positives to take from our first competitive game back.

⚽ GOALSCORERS:
🔥 Jen
🔥 Fin
🔥 Seb

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH – SEB 🏆

A fantastic performance from Seb, whose work rate and determination were outstanding. He never stopped running, battling and trying to make things happen for the team. Fully deserved MOTM! 👏👏

Every single lad who pulled on the Coxhoe shirt can be proud of their effort. It's only game one of a long season, and if we keep working hard, learning and improving together, the results will come.

Heads held high, lads! 💙🖤

We win together. We lose together. We learn together.

On to the next one! ⚽💪

Monthly Rundown -
July / August 2026

Over the last month the lads have had some amazing pre season friendlies playing teams from all over the north east...

First of all we played Consett Blues - team who were in our div last season and we had some great games against them and it carried into our pre season game - the lads came out on top but it was a hard game all round. 11 goals scored in the game with us just getting the win in the dying minutes.
Final score 6-4.

Then came along div 10 Bearpark where we travelled to Ushaw College. The lads were absolutely fantastic throughout the game... Down to the bare bones but we stuck it out to the end but unfortunately we were beaten 4-2. The result didn't sum up the game we were by far the better side for 99% of the time... Some horrendous reffing decisions but that's grassroots we move on.

Finally this evening we played Seaham who are in our div this season. We brought our new focus to the team with new positions and tactics and what a game it turned out to be. Final score 8-0 to the lads worked their socks off against a defensively strong Seaham side who grafted to the end.

Immensely proud of the lads and how they playing this season... Amazing things to come

Shout-out to our sponsors also 💙
