As we prepare for Durham Regatta 2026, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to every sponsor, supporter, Vice President and Honorary Life Vice President whose generosity helps make the regatta possible.

Here is everything you need for your visit to Durham Regatta this weekend…

🚣 Durham Regatta is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit event supporting the local rowing community in Durham.

🚣 Around 2,000 competitors will race across the weekend, from Juniors (12+) to Masters (up to 80), representing clubs from across the UK.

🚣 Racing times:
* Sat: 8am–7pm (≈220 races)
* Sun: 8am–6.30pm (≈185 races)

📘 Free official programmes are available at the entry gates.

🎪 Entertainment is free (funfair is pay-per-use).

🍻 A licensed riverside bar will be open, serving drinks including Pimm’s and soft drinks.

Also making their debut at Durham Regatta this year, The Ellipsis Project featuring a range of linen wide leg trousers. They believe boredom is a good thing. The blank moments, the unplanned afternoons, the stillness, that's where the best ideas come from. That's what every pair represents.

Step back in time with the return of the living history and Viking re-enactment group, Dunholm Vikings.

Watch as they recreate aspects of Viking life including demonstrations of crafts such as spinning, weaving and cooking from an authentic camp on our entertainment field. Who will be the victor as they show off their skill and Viking weaponry as part of their combat demonstrations. Children also get an opportunity to participate in the hugely popular kiddie vike!

The Durham Regatta online shop is open for a limited period only for pre-sales of the official Durham Regatta 2026 t-shirt and other branded merchandise.

New for this year is the long awaited bucket hat. We only have a small supply of these so if you'd like one you need to be quick! Last year our wristbands sold incredibly well so we've restocked those and added a cute little croc charm to the list of items you can pick up this year.

The online shop will close for pre-orders mid afternoon on Friday 12th June with the official merch stall opening over the regatta weekend each day between 10am-5pm .
