While joining us for our 10th Anniversary celebrations, Paula Radcliffe made a special visit to Durham Johnston Comprehensive School, where she met students and joined them for a private screening of Paula Radcliffe: Chasing Stars ⭐

It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to hear from one of Britain’s greatest athletes and be inspired by her incredible journey. Visits like these are so important, and we look forward to seeing the next generation of athletes coming through…perhaps winning one of our future Durham City Runs ❤️

What a way to celebrate 10 years of Durham City Runs 🔴🟣🟡🔵

As the dust settles on another incredible event, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our 5K & 10K through the historic streets of Durham.

Seeing thousands of runners make their way through the city before crossing the finish line outside Durham Cathedral was the perfect way to mark our 10th Anniversary. Whether you were chasing a personal best, taking on a new challenge or simply soaking up the atmosphere, we hope you enjoyed every step — we know it’s a hilly one 🫣

A huge thank you as well to our fantastic volunteers, marshals, partners and supporters, who helped make the evening such a success. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without you 💙

And finally, thank you to everyone who has been part of the Durham City Runs journey over the last decade. From our very first event to yesterday’s celebrations, you’ve helped build something we’re incredibly proud of 🫶
