🟑 Match Results πŸ”΅

A statement win on the road from the 1st XV this afternoon, coming out the blocks from the first whistle. A hard fought comeback from Keswick but the boys in Gold & Blue held on to secure their first win of the league.
PotM goes once again to Ben Speight - hellish carries & excellent coverage across the park.

An unfortunate result for the Sarries in the self-titled Davis Derby, with Gateshead pulling away at the end.
PotM given to Smudge - excellent carries & heavy hitting in D, complimented by commanding the line-outs.

Back to training, we go again next week πŸ’›πŸ’™

🟑 Match Results πŸ”΅

A tough afternoon on the road for our Men’s 1st XV as they narrowly lost out to a strong Novos side in the final minutes. Plenty to learn from and work to put in during the week.
Will Tomlinson was voted PotM for pesky sniping round the breakdown & competitive box kicking amongst his already strong scrum-half abilities πŸ‰

The City Saracens got their campaign in the new league structure underway with a BANG as they managed 11 tries past an impressive Washington side who came off the back of their victory against Consett last week. The lads came out the changers and into action from the very first whistle, piling pressure on and whittling a strong Washy defence down time & time again. PotM was given to Eric Meek for his impressive line breaks, support play and being a β€œmenace in contact” πŸ’₯

πŸ’› We go again next week πŸ’™
