If you’d like to move more, get out and about, enjoy the outdoors, improve your mental health and wellbeing or make some new friends then why not try a Move activity or programme. Taking place across the County, there’s everything from a craft group and seated exercise class to swimming and an outdoor walk.

Great news! We are excited to announce three new Move and Mingle sessions starting in the South West area, in Barnard Castle, Evenwood, and Shildon.

Move and Mingle sessions are a great way to meet new people, stay active, or get more active in a fun and friendly environment. Participants can enjoy a variety of activities, including darts, New Age Kurling, boccia, archery, table tennis, pickleball, and badminton. Activities will vary depending on the venue.

Refreshments are provided, and your first session is completely free.

We look forward to welcoming you all and helping you make new connections while enjoying a range of enjoyable activities.

Can you believe it was four weeks ago today that Fireride Festival joined us at the Big BRASS Bash in Newton Aycliffe as part of our We Move Together campaign? We didn’t get chance to share many photos and videos from the evening at the time, so here are a few if you missed it. 🎺🚲
