It gives new and returning players the chance to understand what it means to represent Brandon United and lays the foundations for the months ahead.

๐ฑโฝ Groundsman Appreciation Post - Stig ๐๐ป๐๐ป โฝ๐ฑ
A huge thank you to Stephen Atkinson โStigโ who has single handedly looked after the Welfare Ground throughout the season.
With two senior teams regularly using the pitch, keeping the surface in top condition takes a huge amount of hard work, dedication and countless hours behind the scenes.
The pitch continues to receive compliments from visiting teams and officials on how well it looks and plays, which is a credit to the effort that goes into maintaining it week after week.
The work never stops and preparations for the new season are already well underway. Looking at the pitch today, itโs already shaping up nicely for another busy year ahead.
Thank you for everything you do for Brandon United.

Unfortunately, one of the floodlights at the Welfare Ground has blown down again following recent weather conditions.
Thankfully nobody was injured, but the damage means we now face another unexpected repair and safety job at the ground.
As always, weโll work quickly to make the area safe and assess the next steps to get everything back up and running properly.
Running a grassroots football club comes with constant challenges behind the scenes and moments like this are a reminder of the work required just to keep facilities operating week in, week out.
Weโd like to thank everyone who continues to support Brandon United through it all, volunteers, supporters, players, sponsors, and the wider community.

๐ฑ Post Season Pitch Work โฝ
As the season comes to an end, attention now turns to the pitch. Our Women team are still fighting for promotion, once finished we focus on the pitch.
Work is due to start in the next month on our post-season maintenance programme to give the surface the best possible chance ahead of next season.
A lot goes on behind the scenes at this time of year, repairs and general upkeep, all with the aim of providing a surface the players and supporters can be proud of.
Thank you, as always, to Stig our fantastic groundsman and everyone giving up their time to keep the club moving forward.

Full-Time | Seaton Carew 5 โ 2 Brandon United
A difficult start for Brandon this afternoon, kicking off with ten men due to late arrivals and finding ourselves 3โ0 down inside the opening 20 minutes. The hosts extended that lead to 5โ0 by half-time.
To the ladsโ credit, the second half was a completely different performance. We showed much more organisation, effort and quality, pulling two goals back through Hopde โPeteโ Burrows and finishing the game strongly.
Congratulations to Seaton Carew on securing the Wearside League Premier Division title โ a consistent season and fully deserved.
Finally, thank you to all our players, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and management team who have played their part this season. Your support has not gone unnoticed.
Weโll regroup over the summer and look to come back stronger in pre-season.
Enjoy the break.
