Low autumn sunshine casts stunning shadows across Dr Alister MacKenzie’s iconic layout. Enjoy a peaceful late-afternoon round in the sheltered basin as the sun sets over the countryside.

What a finish! 🏆

Congratulations to Richard Hine on winning the Eastbourne Amateur today, beating Rob Hampson on the 4th extra playoff hole.

Richard holed out with a birdie on the par 5 after a fantastic up and down from the bunker to secure his first Eastbourne Amateur title. What a way to do it!

Even more special with Richard having recently become a dad and if winning the Eastbourne Amateur wasn’t already unexpected enough, doing it like that makes it one to remember!

Unlucky Rob, who took Richard all the way to the 4th extra hole in a brilliant battle.

Also a great result for Tom Cruttenden, finishing 3rd Gross and picking up Best Nett. 👏

A very proud day for Richard, with the Willingdon home player getting his hands on the trophy!

Yesterday evening we had the Chairman’s Summer BBQ 2026. Great to see familiar faces 😁
