Today sees us kick off the 2026/27 season with a huge occasion as we begin our Adobe Women’s FA Cup campaign away to Tunbridge Wells Foresters. 🏆⚽

It’s the first opportunity to see our new-look squad in competitive action, with new players joining the group alongside returning faces as we start an exciting new chapter together.

A lot of hard work has gone in behind the scenes throughout pre-season, and now it’s time to take that work onto the pitch.

New Head of East Sussex College Eastbourne Women’s Football Academy- Rebecca Relf in Partnership with Eastbourne Town FC x Eastbourne Town FC Women 💛💙

We’re delighted to announce Becca Relf as our Head of Women’s Football Academy at East Sussex College Eastbourne Campus in partnership with Eastbourne Town FC.

Becca is a Sport lecturer at the Eastbourne campus, and brings together academic excellence and over 25 years of football experience. Becca holds a range of qualifications within Sport & Exercise Science, including a PhD in Enviornmental Physiology.

Having played football since the age of eight, Becca has represented locally Eastbourne United, Hastings United and Eastbourne Town, where she proudly captained the women’s first team of the latter two. Becca specialises in sports science and sports massage, using her expertise to support the next generation of female athletics in reaching their full potential both on the pitch and in the classroom.

Becca is committed to creating an environment where young women can thrive in football, education and beyond.

We are looking forward to having Becca work with our academy players and supporting them to develop both on and off the pitch.

We welcome all players who may be attached to any football club to come and develop their football technical and tactical skills, whilst studying at East Sussex College Eastbourne.

⚽ WELCOME TO THE TEAM, JIM!

We're delighted to welcome Jim Colston as our new Head of Men's Football Academy at East Sussex College Eastbourne Campus in partnership with Eastbourne Town FC.

Jim brings more than 30 years of experience in football coaching, including 27 years' experience as a Premier League scout. During his career, he has worked with a number of professional clubs, including Gillingham, Charlton Athletic, MK Dons, Luton Town, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Jim has a long and established career working with young people in football academy settings within educational establishments. He has an impressive track record of developing young players and has won four ESFA National Schools titles with two different teams.

He has supported and developed players who have progressed to the professional level, both in the UK and overseas.

Alongside his work in England, Jim has worked as a coach educator in New Zealand, America, Germany and Japan. He has also supported national teams with their football development plans and the organisation of talent identification programmes.

Jim remains actively involved with Sussex Schools FA and South East Schools FA and has also run his own successful coaching and development company for many years, delivering football sessions to young footballers across Sussex.

Jim brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise to the Men's Football Academy at Eastbourne campus. We're looking forward to having him work with our academy players and supporting them to develop both on and off the pitch.
