Record-breaking fundraising success at St Wilfrid’s Hospice Summer Lunch!

Our Uniformed Protective Services students were proud to support this year’s event at The Saffrons in Eastbourne, helping to serve over 400 guests at an afternoon of fine dining and fundraising.

The event raised an incredible £237,000 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, supporting vital end-of-life care for patients and families across our local community.

Our students were praised by both guests and the catering team for their professionalism, teamwork, and outstanding attitude throughout the day – a real credit to East Sussex College.

We’re incredibly proud of their contribution and the difference they’ve helped make to such an important local cause. 💙

Eastbourne Town FC are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our U18 management team for the 2025/26 season.

This is a paid role and an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive youth football environment, supporting the development and welfare of our talented young players.

The successful candidate will be available for:
⚽ Midweek league fixtures
🏆 Cup matches
🩺 Matchday injury assessment and treatment
💪 Player rehabilitation and recovery support

We are looking for an individual with relevant physiotherapy or sports therapy qualifications and a passion for helping young athletes perform at their best.

WOMENS FOOTBALL NEWS: Congratulations to our Women’s u18 girls for an unbeaten league campaign this season and winning the u18s championship league.

Manager Tony Carrol commented-

‘’ Congratulations to our Women’s U18 girls, going unbeaten all season in the league and winning the u18 championship league.
All the players should be very proud of themselves and a big thank you the coaches for their efforts and commitment to get the girls to win the league.

Starting out as a group of strangers and finishing the season as champions and a true team is something really special. That doesn’t happen by accident. It takes immense dedication from the players to come together and gel so quickly, and every single one of the girls should be proud of what they’ve achieved.

Myself, Chris, and Jack have done a fantastic job channeling that raw potential into an unstoppable team. They clearly built a culture based on trust, hard work, and togetherness — and it’s paid off in the best possible way.

The girls have been an absolute credit to the club all season, and every player, coach, and supporter deserves to enjoy every bit of this success. Congratulations again to our Championship League winners!”
