How much does a padel court really cost?
One that lasts, that is. 💪

The court is one part of the project. A complete budget also accounts for groundworks, drainage, installation and any canopy, planning, surveys or design work your site requires.

Before comparing prices, check the court specification and exactly what each quotation includes. Some allowances may already be included, so adding them again could overstate your budget.

Padel Tech can assess your site and develop a proposal around your chosen AFP courts, court numbers and whether you’re planning an outdoor, covered or indoor venue.

The figures shown are indicative budgets. Court-format and groundworks ranges are per court; the covered-venue example is a total for four courts. Confirm professional fees, VAT and all inclusions in your itemised quotation.

For outdoor venues, protecting the metalwork is part of protecting your investment. Rain, persistent moisture and coastal salt exposure make the coating specification an important consideration for the years ahead.

AFP’s zinc-free HDC epoxy primer combines a protective barrier with flexibility and strong adhesion. That bond matters: a coating needs to remain attached to the metal to continue protecting it. AFP manages preparation, application and curing within its own production facilities, giving it control over how that protection is built into the finish.

Can one tennis court become two padel courts?

Within a doubles tennis court, no. Even across the LTA’s recommended full tennis area, width remains the constraint for the two-court layouts shown here.

A wider site may still work. Padel Tech can assess the available space and propose a suitable AFP court layout.

The padel dimensions shown are indicative, informed by LTA guidance rather than a fixed specification for every AFP court model. The no-gap comparison is illustrative, not a build specification. Final space requirements depend on the chosen court, access, drainage and engineered concrete foundations.
