ERFA is a historical fencing group with classes in Edinburgh and Linlithgow in Scotland. We run classes in traditional 16th and 17th century swordsmanship.
ERFA teaches the techniques of 16th century sword combat based on authentic original fencing manuals from the age of Shakespeare. Our regular classes run on Wednesday evenings in the Main Hall of Morningside United Church on the edge of Bruntsfield in Edinburgh. Anyone age 18+ is welcome to come along and give our style of historical fencing a go in our friendly classes.
