Tomorrow, Macfit turns 10 🩵
And I’ve been thinking a lot about what that actually means.
The fitness world has changed massively in the last decade. Trends have come and gone, the way we train has changed, and Macfit itself has had to adapt and evolve along the way.
But the heart of it has never changed.
Macfit started from my love of outdoor fitness and a belief that movement should feel affordable, accessible and achievable.
A place where people could turn up exactly as they are.Feel safe. Feel supported. Feel part of something.
Ten years later, that still matters more to me than anything.
I’ve watched people do things they genuinely didn’t think they were capable of. I’ve watched friendships form, confidence grow and people find strength they didn’t know they had.
And none of that has ever been about a number on the scales or how somebody looks.
It has always been about how people feel.
The classes have evolved. We survived lockdown. We moved online. We grew. We adapted. Somehow those little online squares have become one of our biggest classes - and still feel every bit as much like Macfit 🩵
Tomorrow we celebrate 10 years.
But today I’m feeling incredibly grateful that after all that change, Macfit is still exactly what I wanted it to be.
Community | Connection | Achievement.
And a whole lot of Actually I can. 🩵
