POV: the worst feeling in surfing.

Who was in the wrong?

In situations like these, the person paddling out should always paddle to the inside of the surfer taking off, not the outside. Even if it means going into the white water!

The Bull Huss, greater spotted dogfish or nurshound is a species of catshark found in cornish coastal waters. They grow close to 6ft in length (1.6 m) and are found between 20-60 metres deep. They can live over 19 years. Nursehound feed on Crustaceans, molluscs and fish, including small sharks.

However, the IUCN has now classed them as near threatened due to overfishing.

In 2004, a total catch of 208 tons was reported from the northeastern Atlantic (equivalent to about 30 elephants). They are sold in markets as “flake”, “catfish”, “rock eel”, and “rock salmon”.

In the mediterranian, numbers have fallen by over 99% since the 1970s. However, little is know about species population numbers in the North Atlantic.
