Our team headed off to the ROR National Championships at Aintree this weekend with Saltmarket and Spanish Saint.

Spanish Saint’s first time back at a racecourse since retiring, to which he took it all in his stride to manage 2x 5th in good company!

Saltmarket, who we have spent considerable time rehabilitating from issues including a fractured hock, was absolutely mega to win a huge class! It was fantastic just to have him back out with us, so to win was even more incredible!

A fantastic week showcasing just how incredible these ex racehorses really are! 🤩

Our residents have been enjoying cool showers and sloppy mashes with electrolyte’s during this heatwave, to keep them cool and hydrated 😎💦

Although some of the boys seemed to magically turn from grey to bay after a shower 🧐🤔

One of our residents Bertie enjoying a pamper day using our hot wash and solarium bay!

Isn’t he so handsome? 🤩

Due to the highly contagious Strangles outbreak in our area we have made the decision to close our yard to external horses for Theraplate, Hot wash, solarium and arena hire bookings.

We wish to stay strangles free and feel it is better to be safe!

We wish all the yards affected a very speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹
