We have some amazing news to celebrate!

Yesterday, our #8 Luca competed in his first-ever competitive karate competition and brought home a bronze medal!

Luca, your teammates, coaches, and the entire Harmony Row family could not be prouder of you.

Everyone who knows Luca will be absolutely delighted for him. His work ethic shines through in everything he does and we love to see it pay off for him off the field as well as on it.

🎂Happy birthday to the gaffer coach John! 🎂

From organising tournament and playing schedules and organising friendlies to making sure every single player feels like a superstar, John truly does everything with our boys in mind.

We couldn’t ask for a better leader or role model for the squad.

Thank you for your endless dedication, patience, and heart, John. We hope you have the amazing day you deserve! 🥳⚽👏

⚽ MATCH REPORT: Johnston Burgh White vs. Harmony Row Blacks ⚽

An early kick-off in Renfrew today saw our boys put on a brilliant display of determination, grit, and passion. In what was a fiercely contested, incredibly even battle, the Blacks dominated large periods of the game and played some of their absolute best football of the season so far.

While a heartbreaking goal in the literal dying seconds of the match meant we didn't get the result our performance deserved, the final outcome doesn't reflect how the game was played. The boys were so incredibly unlucky not to walk away with something from the match, but they can be immenseley proud of how they pushed their opponents right until the final second.

As a neutral this would have been a great game to watch with credit to Johnstone for being great opponents, but it was a nerve wrecking game to play, coach and watch!

Led by today’s captain, #8 Luca Riley sponsored by What A Laugh Photo Booth , the team showed incredible spirit from start to finish. We say all the time that our boys are what grassroots football should be, and every week they make us so proud.

Our attacking play was on full display today, with some fantastic team goals:

#10 Matthew sponsored by Party Like A King found the back of the net with a brilliant finish.

#16 Markus sponsored by Sarah Sabella Fitness showed great composure to get himself on the scoresheet.

#23 Harvey sponsored by Activexgym Activex was instinctive as ever to get that ball in the net when the chance came

#7 Ethan sponsored by Munro Electrical fired home his 10th goal of the season, which remarkably marks our 50th team goal so far! What a milestone, boys! 🥅⚽

⭐ Coaches’ Stars of the Week ⭐

We are proud of every single player today, but a special coaches shoutout goes to three standout performances:

#1 Angelo sponsored by Glasgow Perthshire FC and Calum Chapman– Faced a busy morning but put in a fantastic performance. He made some top-class saves and never stopped vocally supporting his teammates from the back.

#7 Ethan – A true driving force. He brought pace, creativity, flair, and great physicality to the midfield, controlling the tempo and putting in an incredible shift.

#10 Matthew – Strong, disciplined, and incredibly focused. He put in some massive tackles defensively and showed real class when driving the team forward.

Keep your heads held high, boys. You played with pride, heart, and quality today.

Mon the Row 💪🏻 🔴⚫

#5 Devin McKay was also on top form this week finishing in the top 2 of EVERY event at his school sports day! Competing in hurdles, running, skipping, bean bag and the egg and spoon race, Devin showed his trademark determination and athleticism.

Well done Dev we're all so proud of you! Hope you've some energy left for the morning! 🏃🏻‍♀️👟🥈

Happy 10th Birthday to our Harvey!

To everyone at the club, Harvey is known for his massive heart—he is the definition of kind, generous, and gentle both on and off the pitch. But from putting in a perfectly-timed tackle to unleashing a rocket of a shot that leaves keepers stranded, he is a powerhouse in our midfield.

We could not be prouder of the player and, more importantly, the incredible young man you are becoming. We're so proud of you!

Sending you so much love today from all your teammates, the coaches, and your entire HR family.

Have the best day! 🙌🔴⚫️

⚽️ Erskine Red vs. Harmony Row Blacks ⚽️

A cracking, hard-fought game out in Erskine today saw the boys narrowly miss out in a seriously close battle. We put together some of the best passing sequences we’ve seen since stepping up to T3, playing some beautiful football and proving very unlucky with a few agonisingly close efforts in front of goal.

With some of the boys playing out of their normal positions to cover subs, every single player stepped up to the challenge. The work rate in the second half was absolutely fantastic as the boys dug in, fought for every ball, and created plenty of chances.

We just need that same intensity right from the first kick next week!

Captain Cooper Linton sponsored by Cheeky Charlie’s Dog Walking and Home Visits Davo Linton and Danni Linton led the team out ⚽

⭐Coaches' Stars of the Week⭐

#16 Markus sponsored by Sarah Sabella Fitness earned his star for scoring a brilliant goal, running his socks off, and constantly leading the press with maximum effort.

#10 Matthew sponsored by Party Like A King was also named a star of the week for a warrior-like performance in the midfield, battling for everything, moving the ball around beautifully, and working incredibly hard for the badge.

#23 Harvey sponsored by Activexgym Activex completed the trio for another brilliant, versatile display, dropping in to support the backline whenever needed and putting in a rock-solid defensive performance.

Unlucky today, boys! That second-half effort especially was immense. We dust ourselves down and go again. 💪⚫️🔴
