Great weekend for Third Lanark 2016s.
First it was away to the Tass Thistle Tournament with the boys giving there all playing 5 games with 2 wins, 2 draws and unfortunately 1 loss. There was some great football on display on Saturday which lead to some very well took goals. ⚽️
With the referees giving out there Player Of The Match medals only for our Goalkeeper Carson to grab 2 of them with some great performances 🏅🏅
Overall a great day for the team and even the weather decided to stayed on our side after the scheduled rain.
Very well done players, coaches and parents who made the road trip 👏

Today was back to normal Sunday football and the boys showing no signs of tiredness put on a great battling performance today and deserved at least a draw. Some top drawer finishing today from the boys & shots that just couldn't hit the back of the net. Coaches couldn't be any more prouder today and with them over the whole weekend.

Trainer of the week goes to the whole squad this week with some well earned ice lollies.

The summer is finally here and the boys put on a great battling performance in the sun. Great goals scored and worked like trojans against a tough tackling opponent in the heat of EK. Took a deserved lead into half time and continued the good football, stayed strong and seen the game through for a deserved victory against Claremont. We wish Claremont well for the season.

Shooting practice this week at training definitely paid off today with 6 different goal scorers with even a couple disappointed not to get there hat-tricks today lol. Some excellent football on display today from the boys and some great goals.
The only negative today was for Jacob who unfortunately had to go to hospital for a injury so fingers crossed on a speedy recovery.
