Let me guess.
You’ve tried the 6am bootcamps. The Keto + fasting + cross-it combo. The “no pain no gain” mantra.
And you crashed. Every. Single. Time.
Because life with little humans doesn’t allow for perfection.
So this July, we’re doing something different.
31 days. 5-10 minute tasks.
No dramatic overhauls. No guilt. No failing.
Just small, boring, sustainable habits that actually stick.
One day it’s drinking water before coffee.
Next day it’s 5 squats before breakfast.
A breathing exercise. A family walk. A screen-free bedtime.
You’ll measure on Day 1 and Day 31—not to obsess over the scale, but to see that consistency beats intensity every time.
The goal? Not a “transformation” you can’t sustain.
But a quiet confidence that you can do hard things—in 5-minute pockets.
This is for the tired, the busy, the “I’ll start Monday” parents.
You in?

🚨 Turns out lifting weights might not just make your shopping bags easier to carry... it might help you stick around longer too. 👀
Recent research highlighted in a BBC article found that around 90 to 120 minutes of strength training per week was associated with a lower risk of early death. We're talking reduced risks linked to heart disease, neurological conditions, and overall mortality. Pretty impressive for something that can include squats in your living room between school runs and stepping on Lego.
But here's the part nobody talks about enough...
Strength training isn't just about looking good for summer holidays.
It's about being 75 and still being able to:
✅ Get up from the floor without performing a complex 14-step manoeuvre
✅ Carry shopping bags without needing a tactical rest halfway home
✅ Pick up grandchildren without your knees sending complaint letters
✅ Stay independent for longer and keep doing the things you love
Muscle is basically your retirement savings account for movement. The more consistently you invest now, the more freedom you buy later.
And before you panic...
You don't need 6 days a week.
You don't need to become a human protein shake.
You don't need to deadlift a small car.
2 to 3 strength sessions per week? That's a fantastic place to start. 💪
Because the goal isn't simply to live longer.
It's to still be capable of opening stubborn jars at 85.

"Parents don't fail fitness plans. Fitness plans fail parents." 🔥
Being a parent means your calendar already looks like a game of Tetris 🧩
Work deadlines. School runs. Sick days. Clubs. Meal prep. Family commitments.
And somewhere in the middle of all that chaos, you're supposed to follow the "perfect" workout plan and cook Instagram-worthy meals every day?
No wonder so many parents feel like they're failing.
Here's the truth:
You don't need more complicated plans.
You need strategies that fit your life.
✅ Workouts that don't take over your day
✅ Nutrition habits that work with family life
✅ Simple systems you can actually stick to
✅ A plan flexible enough for real life, not fantasy life
Because reclaiming your health and fitness shouldn't mean sacrificing everything else that matters.
I help busy parents build simple, effective habits that work WITH their work and family life, not against it.
Because feeling stronger, healthier, and more confident shouldn't only be available to people with unlimited time.
Your life is busy.
Your fitness plan should respect that.

Trying to follow the “perfect” fitness plan as a parent is like attempting a military operation inside a soft play centre. Absolute chaos 😂
One minute you’re meal prepping chicken and rice…
The next you’re eating dinosaur nuggets off a toddler’s plate while negotiating over which sock “feels angry.”
Most fitness plans are built for people with:
❌ uninterrupted sleep
❌ predictable schedules
❌ unlimited free time
❌ the ability to p*e alone
So when life inevitably body-slams your routine, you don’t just lose trust in the plan…
You start losing trust in yourself.
You think:
“I can never stick to anything.”
“I always fall off track.”
“Maybe I just don’t have the discipline.”
Reality check 🚨
You don’t need a perfect plan.
You need a plan that survives real life.
Simple. Adaptable. Effective.
Because fitness as a parent shouldn’t feel like trying to assemble IKEA furniture during a fire drill 🔥
Focus on the 5 pillars:
🏃 Movement
🥗 Balanced nutrition
😴 Sleep
🧠 Stress management
💧 Hydration
Not perfection.
Not punishment.
Not surviving on lettuce and sadness.
Some weeks you’ll smash workouts.
Some weeks the biggest achievement is drinking your coffee before it goes cold.
Both count.
Fitness that works for parents is flexible enough to bend without snapping. That’s how you build consistency that actually lasts, not burnout that stops you in your tracks. 🫶🏻
