What an amazing day of performances from our U14s in the Elite 8 of the Plate!

Incredible start in the first match against , the squad powered off with some slick attacking play to goal, and terrific through court pressure to force multiple turnovers. Even with lots of changes they forged on to take the win 21-5!

The semi-final against was a humdinger, with the lead changing hands several times. We were down in the last quarter but the team showed incredible grit and determination to turn ball over and treasure it to goal, to pull away to a 20-17 win in the dying minutes.

In the final we ran out of steam a bit and despite making a huge number of turnovers, we couldn’t quite get our connections through court working and struggled to find each other. were well deserved 28-8 winners.

Hugely proud of the whole squad, with all 12 (including three U13s) taking the court throughout the day and contributing to what was a fantastic experience. Well done to Beulah who was selected as our player of the final, and also to Fable who was the coaches’ player of the day.

The first team faced a nail biting final game of the season against a talented Beacons side. A slow start and a few lapses in concentration meant the team struggled to convert turnovers into attacking opportunities early on.

In the second quarter, the team rallied to build a 7 goal lead, but Beacons fought back strongly in the third to close the gap. Heading into the final quarter, the team stayed composed under pressure, controlling possession well and ultimately securing a hard fought 2 goal victory.

An incredible way to finish the season top of the table and undefeated champions! 🏆

OPoM went to Lottie for her beautiful work in attack and stellar feeds into the circle.

Final Score: Club 48-46

The first team had a strong performance against Wealden in the NWKL. A relentless full court defence created crucial turnovers, allowing the team to build momentum and take control of the game.

Player of the match went to Dru, who had brilliant movement in attack!

Final score: Club 55 - 28

A tough result for the second team in their NWK clash against Beacons. They showed great resilience to pull the scoreline back, but couldn’t quite find the breakthrough to secure the win.

Final Score: Club 47 - 53

The third team delivered a stellar performance against Swanley. A full team effort saw them take control early, creating numerous chances and converting consistently to pull ahead.

Final Score: Club 46 - 24

The Club was represented brilliantly at the recent Netball London and South East Regional Festival as our girls played for their Kent Netball Academies.

The U15As were the regional champs with 6 out of the starting 7 being Club girls - well done to Amelia, Ciara, Alyssa, Lola, Alexia & Evie S. With Fable, Evie H, Georgie & Sienna also selected for squads, our U16s next year are looking 🔥

In the U13 section the Kent As were also winners with our girl Zahra in the starting 7. Megyn, Betsy, Millie & Tomi were also valuable members of their squads.

Well done girls, we are very proud of you 😍

*Last week catchup!*

Juniors C (our year 7s) came up against an older, more experienced Aquarius, who had been two divisions above in the winter league. Despite some super defence, winning back lots of ball, we struggled with ball placement and decision making in attack. Well done to Mila on her debut for the Club - picking up a PoM for terrific play in defence! ❤️🩵
