New staff, new players, new beginnings: Guildford Football Club ready for a new era!
We are extremely proud to have been invited to play a friendly fixture against the newly established club, Woking Wanderers FC. It is a great honour for us, as a club, to be asked to take part and to become a small part of their history.
Over the past few months, we have worked tirelessly to strengthen the squad and are delighted to announce 15 new signings, whom we look forward to seeing feature in this exciting friendly.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Assistant Manager, Steve Brauner, at Guildford Football Club.
Steve is a highly sought-after coach and a trusted colleague of our Manager, Carl Large. He joins us with immense coaching experience and a proven track record of developing players and teams to a high standard.

Guildford Football Club is delighted to announce that Surrey Sports Park will be our home for the 2026/27 season.
After a year of uncertainty surrounding the location of our home fixtures, including an early-season change of ground, we are now in a position to confirm that all home matches will be played at Surrey Sports Park. This agreement brings much-needed stability and clarity for our players, staff, and supporters and this couldn’t be done without our amazing sponsors support.
Securing Surrey Sports Park as our home is a significant step forward and a clear statement of intent about where we aspire to take this club. We are fully committed to an ambitious, long-term project on and off the pitch, and this move forms a central part of that vision.

Guildford Football Club can today confirm its retained list for the 2025/26 season.
Firstly, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to all players who have now left the club. Each of them has given their all for Guildford FC, and we are extremely grateful for their commitment, professionalism and contribution during their time with us. We wish them every success in their future careers, both on and off the pitch.
We are equally delighted to confirm that a number of members of last season’s squad have agreed contract extensions for the upcoming campaign. Their decision to continue their journey with Guildford FC is a strong endorsement of the direction in which the club is heading, and we look forward to working with them as we prepare for the new season.
Behind the scenes, the club continues to work tirelessly to attract and, most importantly, retain high‑quality players who share our ambitions and values. We are pleased to announce that we already have in excess of 50 trialists registered and ready to showcase their talents at our forthcoming trial day. This represents an exciting opportunity to identify new additions who can strengthen the squad and contribute positively to the club’s future.
